I love independant book stores - they have their own personality and are staffed by knowledgable bibliophiles, so different from the big box category kiilers. White Birch is a good example of this refreshing difference: small but rich, with a narrow but well thought-out selection in all the expected categories of books, cards, and accessories. Also has a nice selection... More

Cute little book oasis in Conway. Good collection of trail maps and travel guides as that was what I was looking for. If you are looking for academic literature or serious material you may not find it here. But it has a very good collection of books that you would like to read during a vacation. (Why else are you... I go out of my way to patronize this store. It has a good selection, b ut lots of stores do that. What it adds, I think, is the love of literature. It sponsors Valleywide book club meetings, featuring a local author, book discussion, and questions and answers wit h the author. Wonderful.

This a small book store jam packed with stationary, cards, pens, gifts, and-you guessed it- books. There are best sellers and some unusual choices. It takes me back to the small town book store before Barnes and Noble. It is worthwhile if yiu like stationary and books. I forgot to mention a few places to sit and review the merchandise. No... More

For such a big space they had surprisingly little. There selection was absolutely terrible. Almost as if they raided an elementary school library and filled in the extra space with pop culture best sellers. This is a book store for a mom who wants an easy read while on vacation with her brood. Not a place for anything academic or... More

It was a cute little place, but the emphasis on little. We were looking for books on trees and their selection was pretty minimal (they did have mushroom and bird books) Books a Million had a much better selection, even though the store wasn't that much bigger.

Amazon and chain stores have their place. Fortunately so do small stores like White Birch Books. This place carries an interesting assortment of new and used books, both national best sellers and books written and sometimes self published by local authors. I make it a point to stop in at least once, usually more than once, when ever I'm in... More

If you like book stores, then come to White Birch. From locally focused reads to a wide array of texts, this book store is comfortable and welcoming. The front section that provides an eclectic selection of books also provides small 'reviews' by the owners and employees for each of the books to entice the customer to pick it up and... More
