While I was visiting Stables at the Farm by the River, I was taken for a tour of the farm and saw all of their horses. This place is located on the West Side Road. I was very impressed by their location and the choice of the horses to ride.

brought my wife here for a horseback ride for her birthday. it was wonderful, it was just the guide, my wife and i. horseback ride meandered through open fields and down by the saco river. VERY well cared for and groomed horses!

My boyfriend and I took a two-person sleigh ride while visiting the area. Our driver, Walter, was informative and friendly. Our horse, Bob, was adorable. All around a great experience.

Great time, great for families and couples. The tour guides are fantastic and choose a horse that is appropriate for you. Great for someone who has never been horseback riding. Experienced horseback riders will probably be a bit board.

We ejnoyed a beautiful trail with our grandchildren at the Stables at the Farm by the River. The horses: Reuben, Reba, William & Charlie were docile and beautiful. Sam, our guide, was knowledgeable and congenial. We will do this again!
