Entering our 6th year, having now provided over 500 tours - this is a 3 1/2+ hour evening Moose Tour done on a partial schedule late April thru early October. Done most nights late June thru late August. Call or email in advance for details and to make a reservation. As you start, a movie filmed in New Hamphire about Moose is shown while you head into and through Moose Country. Most find this movie to be excellent. There's a bathroom stop, where refreshments are available, and then the tour continues deeper into Moose Country while you listen to some fun Moose tunes. Don't drive strange roads after dark - New Hampshire law allows Moose Tour operators to use floodlights and spotlights to see Moose at night. This tour is meant to be fun for all ages too ! Another video is shown for the ride back. From May into September an average of 5+ Moose are seen each night and the success rate is over 98% for those months. It is attempted to have everyone disembark the bus whenever possible, it happens about a third of the time May into September. In late June the new born calves begin to appear for the Summer and Fall. In September the number of Moose seen and our success rate drop slightly but remain strong. In October we've learned to depart later which has resulted in more Moose being seen, but in general fewer Moose are seen that late in the season. Historically October has had tours where no moose are seen, which is why departure times will be later in October 2012 compared to past years. Yet October is the time of year that often provides sightings of Bulls with full grown antlers too. Please understand Moose are wild animals and are unpredictable and every tour is a different experience. If no Moose viewed then you're invited for a return tour at no charge through the following season. We're the only Moose Tour company in New Hampshire to make any offer or guarantee. Also, the driver who drove the 2nd bus (some nights in 2011 saw two buses used) which generated the 2 major complaints of 2011 is no longer with the company. The other 2 complaints from 2011 which gave the worst rating of "Terrible" are from Reviewers who never took the tour ! They showed up on nights the tour wasn't running. Whereas every night is a different - it is attempted to provide 3+ hours of entertainment and an enjoyable experience to everyone that takes this North Conway Moose Safari Moose Tour. « less

The driver picked us up at our resort which was great--we didn't have to meet him somewhere. At first we weren't sure of what to expect but while we were driving to the area where he expected to see moose the driver had a nature documentary playing about moose and their habits and characteristics. Once we were in the right... More

I had heard people talk about a good moose tour, so I had no problem recommending it to our guests. I finally took the tour myself - and 'good' doesn't do it justice. First of all, I didn't have to drive to a pick-up spot - the van came to hotel. Elwyn, the driver, spoke with the people on the... More

Have taken this moose tour twice now. If you want to see moose take this tour ! Each tour has been an adventure but the one constant has been seeing moose. The driver has been as excited as we have been when a moose or moose are seen ahead. Tour includes a movie and more. It's become a regular thing... More

Their slogan is 'see moose at night' and yes we did ! Tour includes movie about moose life in New Hampshire and as the driver told us ahead of time, moose tend to come out after dark. Like clock work it got dark and with the driver knowing where the moose are and he having a spotlight we saw moose.... More

Sometimes the moose appear when it's still light out but a majority of the time it's after dark. Some nights requires patience, some nights requires a lot of patience, but our track record is pretty darn good. Nice to be thought of as "wicked good" ! More

Seeing the advertising in the lobby where we stayed we asked the front desk their opinion. Feedback was positive so decided to go. From start to finish the tour was all about moose and we saw at least 8 different moose, some more than once so it seemed like even more. Nice to be around people having a good time... More

For those families vacationing in the Mt. Washington Valley and the North Conway area we offer an evening activity that is designed to be an entertaining for all members of the family, for adults, teenagers, and young children. Although not all tours provide sightings of 8 moose our track record is pretty good that moose will be seen. More

After taking both the Pemi Valley Moose Safari (located in Lincoln, NH) and recently, the MWV Moose Safari located in No. Conway, I would have to say the Pemi Valley Safari was much more enjoyable, just on a "fun" basis. Only saw 1 moose with them, but there was a "guide", as well as driver, who kept us entertained the... More

I welcome the opportunity to respond here. For years each season the 'North Conway Moose Safari Moose Tour' has delighted and satisfied thousands of customers. In that time a "let's work together" attitiude has formed with Pemi Valley when the tours occur on the same night. After this review it may be time to change the routine. However, I have... More

After a recommendation from the front desk staff where we stayed went on this Moose Safari. Tour included a movie and as the driver spoke of, the moose come out after dark. Saw a bunch and one moose was friendly enough that let us get off the bus and watch. We recommend this moose tour in North Conway. More

Having the wife wanting to see a moose while on our trip to the North Country we went on the North Conway Moose Tour. Well in short, we saw moose and then some. Saw eight different mooses and even was able to get off the bus and take pictures. Wife was happy and had a good time to boot. We... More

Went on this Moose Safari last year and we saw 10 moose so was pleased with the results. Was able to get picked up and dropped off at our place of lodging so that was convenient. Will take my 6 year old granddaughter this year and know she will have a fun time seeing moose and listening to the Moose... More

The tour is designed in hopes to be fun for "children of all ages". Sometimes the youngest after seeing moose fall a sleep on the ride back to North Conway, but that's okay .... they saw moose ! More

Coming to the conclusion that moose in NH were a myth decided to go on the North Conway Moose Safari. Our driver was knowledgable and a pleasure. Departed North Conway at near dusk and just as darkness was upon us so were the moose. Counted 6 moose in all. No photo opportunities but other than that the night exceeded our... More

Yes ! New Hampshire moose do exsist ! About half of our customers have never seen a moose before. We like to think we change people's lives on every tour 'cause at the end of the night they can say "we saw moose" ! It's also fun to keep lighting up the 'cheer & clap' sign... More
