Took the 1 hour ride with a 4 year old. It was clean, fun and a nice way to pass the time. They have other-longer rides, something for everyone.

We attended the Thomas the Train event here and my son absolutely loved it. The price was reasonable and there were so many activities for the kids to do. Not to mention how much he loved "riding the rails" for the first time ever!

We did this train ride when my son was younger, and now six years later, it was somewhat boring. Since there was little to do on a rainy day, we took the ride to pass the time. We could hardly hear the conductor as the train was so noisy with loud children and families that we missed all the historic... More

We decided to take the 55 min "scenic" ride. We upgraded to first class (an extra $4 and totally worth it). I guess I was hoping to see something but all we saw were trees. Lots and lots of trees. The guide in our car was very knowledgeable and he told us a lot of history of the area but... More

We opted for the first class ticket. We enjoyed the hour ride through North Conway. I love trains and the kids enjoyed the trip. The train museum was cool. If you are a history buff, be sure to read the literature inside the North Conway Rail Station. It was worth the money

The train itself is very nice (we went first class) and the conductor knows the area and history. However, it is the track both ways.

Please note: This review is only for the 1-hour round trip Valley Ride from North Conway to Conway. I did not have enough time to go for the Notch Ride, so I hesitantly settled for this ride because the kids were looking forward to a train ride. If you set your expectations high, you will be in for a disappointment.... More

This reviewer is correct in assuming that, of our three routes, the Notch Train offers more stunning scenery. Her description of the Conway Valley train is also very accurate: farmlands, distant mountain views, and a few river crossings. This is our most popular route with young families for whom the 5-hour Notch Train excursion would be too long. With passenger... More

My son thought this was amazing. The 55 minute round trip was the perfect length of time for us and the open-air car felt great on the warm summer day. This was a great value for the $

Took my four and five year old to go on an open-air car train ride. Weather was gorgeous so it was a perfect day for it. Everyone who worked at the station was so friendly. The tickets were pricey but when else are you really going to get your kids to experience something like this? Snacks on the train, cool... More

We did the one hour valley tour while on vacation. We had our almost two year old and four of our other children ranging from 10 to 13. They enjoyed it and the little one loved riding the train. Any longer though and he wouldn't have been enjoying it! We paid for the first class car which was nice because... More
