Seven o'clock dinner reservations for four on a Saturday night for a VERY special occasion......we were acknowledged by 7:30, move to an outer room for drinks and then forgotten! Place was very busy-jackets and ties only-like I said it was a VERY special occasion - georgeous views-told we were next and watched 5 other parties get seated. By 8:15 we... More

The natural beauty in this area is hard to beat...definitely take the time to go. This is probably the only place in the East to see this.

Had my first ice climbing experience here with Ice Fest 2014. Cathedral has some climbs for newbies and experts alike. NH in General is a great destination for ice. If you have never tried it is a amazing experience. Try out some of the local guides at International Mountain Climbing School in North Conway!

Its out of the way and hardly anyone knows of this place. Many people like to hike an climb the face of the mountain. But the best thing is to drive up to the summit and and take the 2 minute hike to the cliff and look over the valley. Make sure to bring a camera because you will take... More

This is a georgous hike. It will take an average hiker about one hour from the parking lot to the top. The trail is at times a bit steep, and you wil need both hands and feet at times, but it never gets really hard. We were hiking with our one year old son on my back. This hike was... More

This is one of the great spots to stop by and visit. I have done it by car, Motercycle and by snowmobile. The view is breathtaking and really shows what NH is all about.

parked at the bottom and hiked up, while hiking, was watching the "cliff climbers". once at the top, we had packed a picnic lunch and found a nice area on top of the ledges to eat with a really nice view. If going in spring/early summer, bring plenty of bug spray

By starting here at this site you can get an idea of where you are in the Mt. Washington Valley. If you are lucky you will be able to see a good portion of the Presidential Range that is if it is clear, a 50/50 chance. If it is not clear it is well worth the quick drive up and... More
