This is a beautiful place to overlook the valley below and the mountains in the distance. The ledge can be hiked to, mountain climbed to or driven to. While there two young climbers arrived at the summit having just scaled the face. They were very appreciative of the 15 min ride down that we gave them (vs. hour climb).

We've been going to North Conway for many years now, and always take a trip up to Cathedral Ledge! Just be careful, as the last time we were there, with our 3 granddaughters, I slipped on the damp rocks and got a serious abrasion. My youngest granddaughter saw the blood running down my leg and was so upset that it... More

We don't do any hiking or climbing so this was just right for us. We followed signs, parked our vehicle, walked just a little through brush via very worn paths and over smooth gigantic rocks. These were mountain tops that have been worn smooth over thousands of years by humans drawn here for a view of a lifetime. Unforgettable. Be... More

We took a random detour to visit the ledge. It was incredible to see. I got a kick out of seeing some daredevils scaling the cliffs. It was also prime leaf time and beautiful.

Drove to the top with the family and enjoyed the views of the valley. I recommend you drive up if you go with small children because it seems like a serious hike. The views are incredible and it is a great place for family pics and just enjoying the views

We came up here and walked around just as the sun was starting to dip. It does get a bit windy and you do need good shoes as the pine needles on the stone ground is very slippery. Gorgeous views all around and well worth the trek!!!

We just recently stayed at the Cathedral Ledge Condo. Most have been remodeled and the one we stay in was one that had been. Very roomy and comfortable. Bed in Master was never and comfy. The fireplace or wood stove in Living room worked great and gave us lots of warmth. This unit C4 was on the backside of the... More

Not much else other than the view. It's a short drive from "downtown" North Conway so I would say it's worth the trip.
