Park happened to be opened due to no snow yet. Was able to take breathtaking photos. If the foliage was full bloom I would of died and gone to heaven.

Go up on a clear day and the views are amazing! From the views of the mountains surrounding and echo lake. And seeing rock climbers! I'm terrified of heights so I hang back and I'm ok.

We only had a couple of hours to spare before sunset, so staff at our Hotel suggested we drive here to see fantastic views over the valley and lovely rock formation. It was just a short walk from the parking area and well worth it.

Had always heard of the Ledge, finally made it. Was pleasantly surprised by the view, the easy trails to walk, and the ability to watch the rock climbers. Seeing the fall foliage was beautiful from every angle of the ledge.

In the fall or any season this ledge is more than just a favorite for rock climbers. With a road to the top and now the addition of ramps and a toilet, this spot is easy to enjoy be everybody. The drive up or walk up, if the gate is closed (winter) is worth the effort for a great view.... More

We came to New Hampshire for the first time to see the fall foliage. Despite being a couple of weeks late we saw some great color and were very impressed with our first trip to New England. New Hampshire was our favorite state due to the contrast and Cathedral Ledge was part of what stood out! We saw several people... More

There's and adjacent car park and the ledge offers some stunning views. It's also only about 10 mins from Diana's Baths.

A paved road takes you to the top of the ledge where many rock climbers can be observed. The views of the Intervale area and surrounding mountains (Cranmore, Black Cap, Kearsarge, etc.) make this a must do when visiting Mount Washington Valley. The area is fenced but children should be closely supervised and do not throw anything off the ledges... More
