This 33 mile roadway is worth the ride and the scenery will blow you away. Many trails to walk to some of the most beautiful waterfalls, wildlife, covered bridge and the river. We visit there every year and just can't get enough of it.

I've traveled this highway twice on trips. I LOVE, LOVE! LOVE the overlook for picture of the White Mountains. I love that I am on a bus and not driving myself. If you go on a Fall holiday, expect a delay as traffic will be heavy. We went the day after Columbus Day, so missed all the traffic!! YES!!

We have traveled the Kancamagus Highway during several different seasons of the year and it is beautiful no matter when. In the summer there are great hiking trails and pull off where you can enjoy a picnic or cookout and cool off in the fresh, clean river sunning on one of many boulders in the river. In the fall, the... More

After we took our ride on the Conway Scenic Railroad, we decided to take the Kanc (as it is called by locals) because it was a weekday and wouldn't be crowded. The whole road is lovely especially in the fall when the leaves change color. If you are impatient, this is not the road for you as many people like... More

When in NH if you want to see beauty you will take the ride on the Kancamagus Highway. There are stops along the way for picture taking or picnics. Beautiful views, a must see.

This 37mile drive is gorgeous and memorable. There are brooks, the Swift River, covered bridges, scenic overlooks, and hikes. Be sure to bring a camera and walking shoes. There are paths to walk on and hikes to take, and signs to tell you how long a hike will be. The highway is well maintained and well marked. It is a... More

This is a very scenic drive. The road is in great shape. We were there for the fall color and it was beautiful. Would definitely recommend this little side trip.
