This is one of the few "town parks" around that is large with plenty of picnic area (near a bathroom), lots of trees and plantings for a pleasant walk, a small splash pool, game fields and even a lovely little gazebo where I have performed weddings.
Really nice park with trails, picnic areas complete with grills, a stage and athletic fields. On any given day during warmer weather you can find families, business people, seniors and students eating, walking and using the facilities. Great place - actually there was a hot dog lady there that had wonderful hot dogs. Clean and welcoming

The park has full bathroom facilities, picnic areas with hibachis, baseball fields, walking trails, public gardens, a stage for free performances and movies, a playground, a public pool, and more. It is also close...
