I visited for the first time with my Lego-obsessed 4-year-old son and my 10-going-on-16-year-old daughter, as well as my mother. At first glance past the door, I was worried that my daughter would be bored, but she was pretty happy to go around and work the displays on her own while I followed her little brother around. She was a... More

This place is fun, more if you have kids that like to touch things (what kids don't?) There are many things to learn about while you are touching them as there are placards on all items explaining them. Learn about pulleys as you pull yourself up in the air on a chair, play with the plasma ball and all of... More

This is a pretty solid children's science museum. There's not too many inventive exhibits but solid delivery on many old favorites such as pulley chair exhibit, gyro scope chair, moon walk, electricity - shocking exhibit. Good explanations of scientific concepts accompany the exhibits. There is a massive Lego display on the original Mill and surrounding Manchester. Check to see if... More

Parents of children with food allergies BEWARE they allow familes to eat at tables in the exhibits/right next hands on activities. So kids are going to and from exhibits and their peanut butter sandwich or anywhere no designated area at all

We got there at 10am - when they opened. No people. We could do anything. The lego display was very excellent. Different science exhibits. We spent 3 hours here. Great price!

As far in things in the area it's good. My children enjoyed it at a birthday party they went to. It was something different for a party venue which was nice.

My parents had brought my kids when the dinosaur exhibit was there and everyone loved it. We went this past weekend and my young children had a good time. I was very impressed with the their moon walk exhibit. The kids loved it!!!

As somebody who has had four generations of family in Manchester, this is the best of history and science! Why shouldn't children in Manchester be inspired? We are!
