Great if you have kids! I only like to stay on the top floor in the lake view section the rooms are nicer! They have a lot of activities for kids! We'll be back!

This spot is very crowded but the Indian Head rock formation is interesting, especially now that the "Old Man" has fallen.

Indian Head is a great place to stay with a lot of amenities. Our favorite is dancing to the band in the evening! Our favorite band there is Jim Connors and Flashback! We had so much fun!

We drove by the Indian Head resort several times while in the area, and finally decided to stop in to see what all the fuss was about. We didn't stay at the resort, but checked out the tower and gift shop - both were neat! If you're going to be hiking some of the area's mountains, or taking the Cannon... More

We visited several sites in the vicinity of the Indian Head resort. The resort although clearly older, was clean and comfortable. The location was ideal to visit nearby attractions. Franconia Notch, Castle in the Clouds, Wiers Beach, lake Winnipesaukee are just of few. The views are breathtaking. Sad to learn that the Old Man of the Mountain had fallen in... More

My husband and I hiked the last week of April this year, the trail was pretty wet in places, but we were pretty well prepared. We had water and provisions, had a lunch at the top. Great views!

I hiked up the Indian Head trail and much of the the hike was in an active creek bed. That was not a problem for me since I had water proof hiking boots. It had rained the might before, so I have no idea whether the trail would be full of water during dry conditions. The creek paths are full... More

We visited the lounge for a few drinks. The view from the lounge is absolutely gorgeous. They have a nice warm fireplace in the lounge as well.

Don't let the sign fool you, even though the Indian Head Trail is only 1.5 miles from the parking lot at the Flume, this is not an easy hike. The terrain rises quickly and steeply in some places. Fortunately, it was very dry and the trail was not slippery or muddy but there are a lot of streams that the... More

We came to New Hampshire to climb Indian Head, which friends recommended to us as a good first hike in the White Mountains. We went up the Indian Head Trail, which starts just south of Indian Head resort on the other side of the road. This trail is poorly marked and very challenging. We stopped several times on the way...
