The music being played in the station was so loud that two adults could not talk to each other. One staff member walked by and three young ladies sat on there bottoms and were more concerned with themselves then anything to do with the railroad. None of these people spoke to us or tried to inter act with us at all,... More

Its a straight line train ride, goes out and comes right back the same way. When you buy the ticket they hand you a piece a paper with interesting facts along the route but they never bother to point them out while on the trip. We expected fun for the kids, at least have someone dressed up like a Hobo,... More

We went on the Hobo Railroad because The Flying Yankee (a train which ran on the Boston-Main line, from 1935-1957, is being refurbished), which my son desperately wanted to see the little of it that's visible (It's in a narrow tent with mostly wooden doors, and a small area of clear plastic.), is being housed on the grounds. Since my... More

Just a nice train ride with lunch provided in the ticket price. You can also purchase ice cream for desert. My kids loved it, my grandkids loved it; and we even go without them

When my grandchildren visited we wanted to do something unique and tried "another local RR trip first" though the kids liked it, I was disappointed with the value for the cost. We decided to try HOBO and were pleasantly surprised. The cost was less than that other, shorter ride on that "other" train ride. Buddy made the day an event... More

My son is doing a school project on the Hobo Railroad so we thought having him learn directly by experiencing it himself would be beneficial but it was disappointing. There was no brochures in the gift shop nor on the train so I asked the person we purchased tickets from and he handed me a little sheet of paper with... More

My husband and I along with our 6 month old took an hour long train ride in September to see the autumn foliage. If you know what to expect than this will be a good experience. It is a basic train ride where they take you forward and back to see some sights you would not normally. It is for... More
