We spent over $100 for two adults and two children plus the Hobo lunch (cannot bring your own food). The ride was nothing special...just went in one direction and back. Got to see two bridges and trees. The Hobo clown was the only thing worth while to see. Made great balloon animals for the kids. Food was way too expensive... More

We enjoyed this train ride more than the Conway train. We went late in the afternoon so it was not crowded. Nice peaceful ride through the country side.

This was our first time on this railroad and our Kids enjoyed it very much. We usually visit the Conway scenic railroad but decided to give this place a try. The ride itself is a bit boring and not that scenic but its mostly geared to the kids...the lunches were good and balloon animals were a nice touch as well... More

Very nice slow ride almost like a walk through the woods. They need to trim the trees so you have a better view of the river. Enjoyable HOBO made balloons and kept everyone happy. Conductor was ok.

What a great activity to do while on vacation. My family has ridden the Hobo Railroad several times and we love it. It comes with the Hobo Picnic Lunch, which includes a sandwich of your choice (I like the peanut butter and jelly), a bag of potato chips, a drink (I like water), and a BIG cookie. The views of... Great Train for kids. Entertainment was not going to happen on the day we went but, one of the young gentlemen works got out his guitar and did a sing along. We enjoyed Ice Cream with our ride which made it better :)

Nice relaxing train ride. Follows the Pemi. Beautiful river. About an hour and 20 min. Relaxing train ride. Windows on train open so you get the nice fresh air. Kids had fun too. Hobo clown comes around and makes balloon animals. I was not in the mood to deal with it, just wanted to take a ride with my family... More

The 1 1/2 hour ride along the Pemiguasset river was nice. I think the best time for the ride would be in early spring or late fall when the leaves are not there. While we did see the river in spots most of the trip we were in heavly wooded areas with little to see. We bought the $12 turkey... More
