While traveling through New England, I took my father (total train nut) and he absolutely loved the experience. You don't get to see that many awe inspiring sights but it is great day trip. The lunch offered on the train was surprisingly very good. It only takes about a hour or so but worth it!

We have been the hobo railroad several times now. The lunch is very good. Scenery is ok. The trip is well planned to keep kids busy. Prior to leaving the station kids can watch a short magic shoe and play in s large, well equipped outdoor play area. Onboard children color, have lunch and have a balloon creation made especially... This was an amazing experience - for both the kids and the adults! What a great surprise when we arrived at the North Pole and were greeted by so many elves! I can't believe all the nice touches they added... I have done the Polar Express elsewhere, didn't even come close to what we experienced here. It was magical!

We had a wonderful experience with the Polar Express out of Lincoln. An earlier review concerned me but our experience was great. The train was nicely decorated, the staff and volunteers were wonderful, the "North Pole" was picturesque with outbuildings including Santa's Workshop and the North Pole Post Office. Santa worked the whole theatre and our kids were enchanted! As... More

The local area was beautiful but was mostly thick with tress for most of the time so chances to take in rivers and surrounding areas were limited in my opinion. Reasonable value I suppose. That's really all I can say about it.

Very nice scenic and serene journey through woods, rivers and mountain on one side of the track. This is a historical rail track where journey is not for a destination but for an experience. Specially for kids, this is something one must go for. The journey starts at Lincoln, nice small hilly town in New Hampshire. It is of 90... More

We went with 3 other adults and played the putt-putt course. It was challenging, but not too hard. We had a really great time and enjoyed seeing all the other families with kids having fun too. Not too expensive and a great way to pass some time. Be sure to pick up the paper hats and temporary tattoos they give... More

Archie made the day! We took the lunch train and enjoyed the scenery, commentary & ambience. Clowns visited the children making balloon characters. Face painting was avalable at the station as was a good sized play area. This train is located right in Lincoln.
