We had both planned a weekend getaway in Lincoln NH especially to see the ice castles and it did not disappoint us! Very cold but gorgeous, there were a couple of ice slides which my friend and I tried out Awesome, We went around 5:00pm so we could both see the castles during the daylight and during the night time... Don't waste you money! We spent over $600 taking the family on this much anticipated experience. The weather was perfect and we were excited. The 15 minute train ride was okay as we sipped hot chocolate on our way to the North Pole. We entered a huge tent as we waited what seemed like a long time for Santa to... More

I bought the premier tickets and was very happy I did. We had ample space on the train with a table, we were served hot cocoa, received a special gift (scarf), jingle bells.....there was caroling and the people were full of Christmas Joy. The stop at the North Pole was great, premier ticket holders unloaded first and had the first... More

25 of us embarked on the journey. It was exciting to watch the kids anticipation of visiting the North Pole. Overall it was a memorable experience, Polar Express like.. a little pricey, but worth the trip with little ones.

Just love Hobo RR, sights are fantastic, nice smooth ride, lunch is exceptionally, sandwich so fresh, chips, drink, and a very large cookie. Engineer explains parts of trip. Hobo pack is cute.

It's a nice 90 minutes ride through the woods while you eat a sandwich and chips. It was nice because of the fall foliage, probably less attractive to me in summer. The apple cider and granola we had after lunch were very good. The gift shop is huge and have a lot of toys for train enthousiast. Nice activity to... More

We took the 1 hr 20 min ride during the week the end of Sept hoping to see fall foliage. We were a little early for the peak fall leaves but it was still quite scenic because the streams on either side has just had almost 3 inches dropped in the prior day. Better than many other train rides we... More
