Kids, especially boys, love train rides. This is a longtime staple of Lincoln which runs thru a local golf course and has a few surprises popping out of the forest....dont want to spoil em but one you wont forget. Not sure if they still offer a dinner train for adults like the one that runs out of COnway on other side of the Kangamangus

We enjoyed our evening ride on the "Polar Express." While the kids loved it, we thought there were some very mall things missing (e.g. a conductor yelling "All aboard!). While some of the "actors" were very enthusistic, others appeared to be completely bored by the production. For the price of the tickets, we expected a little more,

My six and one-half year old and I took the "Polar Express" from Lincoln last night. This will probably be our only such trip. We arrived early, as we were told to do, however, the railroad did not open until about a half hour before boarding time. When we finally boarded, the train itself was a bit disappointing. However, it was much different than advertised.
Before listing the...

With so many other options around, this this pretty time wasting.. we were here on the columbus day weekend and only a few ppl were in line for the train.. we should have realized that.. For most part it went through the woods and some part of the river. Nothing exciting.. seems like we wasted our time waiting for it.....

Okay, I'm a sucker for mini-golf, but this was a stop that I made on a whim while bringing my 6-year-old daughter on a daddy-and-me trip up North, just the two of us, and I am sooo glad I did! It was a fantastic course with difficult and easy terrain, very interesting obstacles, a gargantuan chair that looks like it's...
