My family and I took a train ride which started out fun but after about 10 minutes the lack of scenery and the turtle pace speed I had a tough time keeping my eyes open; and most kids got pretty restless (the route takes you to the Jack O Lantern golf course and then just turns around).

The Ice a Castle in this location is a lot better than when it was a Loon mtn. We went on a Sunday night and there was plenty of parking and no line for prepaid ticket holders. The castle is so neat! There are lights that synchronize with music. Olaf is there to take a picture in front of. There... More

Winter is upon you and the weather is cold, snowy and everything you've come to expect it to be, as the old saying says "if you can't beat them join them". The ice castles in Lincoln uses the cold and ice to maximum effect by creating a winter wonderland out of towering sheets of ice and caverns illuminated softly by... More

My husband and I took the 2.5 hour drive to see this beauty for our Anniversary. We received tickets for Christmas. We stayed locally to do shopping and visit local businesses. We didn't run into a traffic problem, probabley because we happen to travel durring an unexpected Ice Storm. I wanted to arrive so we could see both day &... More

I came to see the ice castles on 1/23/15. It was a Friday night and there was no traffic, which was a huge plus! We were able to see the castles, go down the ice slides and take pictures without a crowd of people. We spent over an hour just admiring the castles- and we are 2 adults. Beautiful and... More

We visited the Ice Castles and the kids hated to leave. We went on a holiday and traffic was fine. They even had police directing traffic. It is absolutely beautiful. There is a cave to crawl through, a slide through a tunnel and much more. We plan to return during February school vacation. Well worth the trip and visit.

They were OK. We had to wait on the interstate exit for almost 3 hours, to spend a total of maybe a half hour inside the "Castle". It was definitely a neat site to see and something different, but the town needs to do something about the traffic....would not sit in it again that is for sure!

A wonderful choice during our road trip in October! Fall foliage heaven. Beautiful scenery. Nice price and easy to fine. Flea market nearby. Definitely recommend! Bring a camera.

We were disappointed not to get the full day's leaf peeper journey, so opted for the 80 mins 'Foliage Season Train Excursion'. What a waste of time, money and expectation! Poor seats, overcrowded carriages, poor vistas, noisy passengers all eating their own food, standing up so the view was not visible except out of your own window. No policing by... More
