Went with a family with 3 children and we all had a fabulous time. Not the biggest water park, but a good range of rides, including some a bit different. Very nice atmosphere, with friendly staff, beautiful grounds, waves, music, a beach bar. Very well maintained. A good deal after 3 (I think) of reduced price or come back the... More

Ok place, a bit on the expensive side for a big family but you can use all the water rides as long as you want to. The cabana rental fee for a day is crazy expensive and not that fancy. I was expecting an enclosed covered "tent" but what I saw was something like a pop up canopy covering with... More

Our large family plans a trip every year! They are very accommodating to our group, and the park entertains the wide variety of ages we bring!! We will continue our Whale' s Tale tradition and always recommend to anyone staying in the area or looking for a fun waterpark!!!

This was the one attraction I was really looking forward to but was very disappointed. We first went in the lazy river and our legs were numb, the water was so cold. They added a few new attractions but some of the older ones needed updating. We went down one of the big slides and the water pressure was so... More

Whales Tale is a small water park just off of 93 in Lincoln. It consists of 1 wave pool, 1 heated pool, 3 hot tubs, a lazy river, a splash park, a little kid area and about 7 slides. Some body slides and some require tubes. We spent about 5 or 6 hours there, which was enough for us. There... More

We bought a season pass and I was extremely disappointed in how strict they are. I understand the legitimate safety stuff, but kids get whistles blown at them ALL DAY EVERYDAY! My 2 daughters were hugging in the kiddie pool and got in trouble because "touching other kids wasn't allowed in case someone fell over." And when floating down the... More

On our recent visit I overheard a conversation discussing a comparison between Water Country in Portsmouth and the Whales Tale. Granted location can be a factor, but given a choice, we find Whales Tale a better fit for a pleasant family experience. Admission is priced almost equally (WC slightly more + parking fee) and are clean, well staffed, and allow... More

Took our grandkids to this water park on a weekday when there was great weather and minimal lines. They had a wonderful time for about 5 hours. The slides are well supervised and most of the workers are very friendly. Life guards take their job seriously. We brought a pick nick lunch so did not spend much money when we... More

The Whales Tale Waterpark is a favorite in the Lincoln area. Plan on a whole day. There is something for every age. Lots of activities for the little ones. The lazy river is fun for all. Massive waterslides for the older kids. Pack your lunch.

Our kids met up with their cousins for a few hours of fun at Whales Tale. The park is clean and there are plenty of pool monitors to keep things moving and orderly. It wasn't too crowded so we went on all their rides many times and had a blast. There is enough here for kids of all ages to... More
