My 7-year old was a ski beginner. She really enjoyed the long green trail from the top of the mountain.

I really enjoyed my stay at Loon, the customer service was top notch from the ticket booth, ski shop, to attendants assisting skiers into the gondola. The conditions did happen to be great when i was there boarding but if that level of customer service is a standard there, I highly recommend checking it out if you're looking for a... More

Loon Mountain is not just for winter sports. There is much to do in the summer with kids. There is always the gondola ride to the top of the mountain but lots to do at the bottom: zip line, wall climbing, buggy trampoline, a maze and more. Don't forget the ice cream.

owned a second home behind the mountain club -sold several years ago. We brought our kids up here and have seen the care of the mountain just get better and better. Biggest plus was the opening of south mountain --great place to go to avoid gondola crowds Snow making and grooming is fantastic-- amenities are great and food is very... More

Loon did a great job making snow and grooming what little Mother Nature had provided. The only gripe I have is the set-up of the mountain. I was working with my 6y old who is learning to ski and the only green trail from the top of the mountain crisscrosses with Intermediate and Expert trails constantly the whole way down.... More

My 2 adult sons, myself, and my brother wanted to go skiing together. We found a great condo exchange to the Village at Loon Mountain and have been here for several days. The facilities are great and the people very friendly. There is a free shuttle bus to the ski area - which is really convenient and allows folks to... More

Loon did an amazing job over the holiday week making a ton of snow. They had clearly made a lot in November and December, and that allowed them to stay open (with decent terrain) through the warm spell around Christmas. Then they re-surfaced everything as soon as the temperatures dropped again.

Loon is a terrific facility. Conditions were only fair, due to recent weather, but the facility is fun. Loved the fire pit!

It had been 25 years since I skied Loon until last week. My strongest memories were of the ice, crowded slopes, and hour long lines at the Gondola. I have to say they've made some improvements - longest I waited for the Gondola was 20 minutes. The weather dealt New England a lousy hand this December - warm rain followed... More

Snow tubing experience was the worst customer service I have ever experienced! There was nobody answering their phone So we showed up anyways to try to book an appointment. We were told they were sold out for the day and if we wanted to book the following day, we could. We were told we could cancel our 1230 time slot... More
