The gondola ride is great and there's lots to see once you get up top! (food, trails, caves, great photo spots, etc.) If you aren't into hiking or cannot hike due to physical/medical limitations but want to experience New Hampshire at its finest, hop on the gondola!

My family took the gondola ride up and enjoyed the trails, watchtower and caves at the top. We had fun, but the trails and caves are not nearly as enjoyable and interesting as those at the Lost River Gorge. There is a lot for the kids to do at the base, but my kids were not that interested in anything... More

The aerial course was fun and challenging. I bit off more than I could handle with the blue course and would have liked a staff members assistance in getting down but I had no choice but to continue because there weren't any staff around close enough for me to get their attention. The zip line was lots of fun. My... More

staff was quite rude- seemed to enjoy putting others down- "that was the worst zipline i've ever seen..." if staff would be more helpful and interested in guests we would go back....

We loved this place! Full day of adventure, nature and peaceful relaxing for everyone. My grandson masters the level 1 rock climbing wall. We took the gondola ride to the top and explored caves and watch towers. My 80 year old mother released in comfy, shady Adirondacks and enjoyed observing her family play. We spent hours and loved every minute.... More

My teenage kids loved the 4-person gondola, which takes one up to the top of the mountain; I, personally, could have used more air inside the gondola. Once at the top, there are a couple of trails, including a caves-exploration trail (One may bipass the caves, as we did, for the most part.), a fun treasure hunt for the kids... More

We enjoyed spending time among the river rock and boulders along Kancamagus highway just west of the Loon Mountain entrance. There are several good photo ops and picnic tables, etc.

We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the treetop adventure (zip-lining and high wire obstacle course) experience at Loon. This is a relatively new offering for them and everything (the gear, safety protocols, design of the courses and entertainment value) exceeded our expectations. By the end of our two hours on the five courses (introductory, two easy, one intermediate... More

Great food on the mountain. Laid back atmosphere and friendly staff. Activities all year round abounds and what else, a wonderful family resort without pretension.
