We have been to Loon Mountain for a week every winter for the past 5 years and it just gets better every year. This place topped them all and I have no idea how. It was the last place we went and it was almost 80 degrees March 18. The lodge is beautiful the food was not outrageous in price and very good. Out of all 14 places we went this season this one was the first to meet us at our car...

Great mix of terrain and nice variety of lifts to keep lines moving. Excellent mid-week skiing if you can avoid the weekends. Good snow-making coverage and overall skiing experience to fit all types of skiing and skill levels.

Even in a bad winter, they did a great job on the week we were there.
Be sure to buy your tickets on line ... much cheaper a day in advance.
