Loon Mountain is one of the places in the region that we keep on going back time fater time when we visit the area, and enjoy it each time.

We got the adventure pass. Had a fun time on the zip line. It was a nice, long ride to the summit on the gondola. As suggested by others, we brought our lunches with us. But it was very buggy up at the summit, so we couldn't really enjoy our lunch. We had a good time going through the polar... More

My husband and 8 year old wanted to do the ropes course, but our 3 year old was much too young, so while they did the ropes course we had a great time at the summit. The caves are short, but quite challenging for a 3 year old. You cannot do them while holding a baby, in arms or a... More

We took the tram to the top and loved the views, also walked around the trails and ended having a beer at the top restaurant (just had to cause). We saw 3 states from the top, bring a sweatshirt as it can be 20 colder up top

When we turned up to do the zip line my 11 year old son could not do it since there was a weight restriction (a higher weight restriction) due to wind on the river. Went up gondola, when we came down wind had dropped and staff allowed us to just pay the extra to get the adventure pass to get... More

Rode the Gondola up to the top of the mountain with our dog! We are always looking for pet friendly activities on vacation (particularly in the heat of August). It was nice to be able to ride up and walk around the top of the mountain at our leisure. We even had a beer and a rum punch at the... More

The tram ride is a little pricey, but it is tourism season! The views up top were very pretty, especially the overlook of loon lake by the little cafe they have up top. The glacier caves are not really caves but more like an obstacle course for very flexible people since you are sideways a lot, crawling through very large... More

Loon is nicknamed the "family mountain" for skiing and is written up in all of the area pamphlets. However, in the last few years, the summer activities have grown to make Loon a destination for a whole day of fun. They have a zip line, a rock wall, bikes, a gondola to the summit walking trail and caves, a maze... More
