Found the place very convenient to Boston, only 2.5 hours away.. plenty of trails, really friendly staff.
Great mountain! This mountain was great from first timw skiers to expert leveled skiers with trail suitable for each level. There are many hotel choices in this area . Our family stayed at the InnSeason Pollard Brook. The four passenger gondola was nice and fast and took you to the peak within 5-10 minutes. Although the gondola was nice, the... More
Skied at Loon on 3/8 - sunny day with no wind. Covered most of the mountain and every run had good snow and friendly lift operators that really know how to move the lines. Several lodges gives many storage and eating options. Our second day we were able to visit the ice castle - very cool. Explore Loon!
We went skiing last weekend. Everything was great. The conditions were ideal for skiing with the family. I took my three children and wife.

There's also several dedicated freestyle areas and a large half pipe.... More

Went back the next day, Sunday, at 12:00 noon when they opened and there were no lines at all; we... More
Loon Mountain skiing has something for everyone. Lot's of easy and moderate terrain and enough steeps to wear out your legs. Good lift arrangements. Try to avoid weekends (we go Monday thru Friday). And don't miss the South Mountain area.

First wait for about an hour or more outside listening to everyone else freeze, then move like cattle into another crowded building to get a ticket. After... More
We came here to check out the Ice Castles. It was interesting to see, and we had a groupon. We got our tickets early and came back later in the evening when the lights were on, thought it would be neater. Line to get tickets later in the evening was ridiculous. The line earlier in the day was still a... More
