We had planned to climb The Rattlesnakes but the weather was misty and damp so we went through Sandwich Notch. Not recommended for the average sedan!!! A stop at Beede Falls was fun and only cut short by rain.

Loved the White Mountains. Such beauty with the foliage, the water. You need to visit in the fall. All the sites are clearly marked making it easy to know where you want to stop.

We did not know what to expect upon arrival and we were pleasently surprised. We can't wait to go back for longer next time.

My first trip to New Hampshire and I have fallen in love with White Mountain National Forest. From The Kancamagus Highway to Mount Washington. The rocks, rivers, foliage, and wildlife are absolutely amazing. I saw my first moose! A majestic but scary beast. So big. Lots of hiking trails and beautiful photo ops. One week is not enough here so... More
