We had planned to climb The Rattlesnakes but the weather was misty and damp so we went through Sandwich Notch. Not recommended for the average sedan!!! A stop at Beede Falls was fun and only cut short by rain.

Loved the White Mountains. Such beauty with the foliage, the water. You need to visit in the fall. All the sites are clearly marked making it easy to know where you want to stop.

Beautiful during the fall months. We got to see the leaves on the trees in all their vibrant colors. Went to Mt. Washington, but it isn't cheap! The entrance fee for a car and the driver is $28 and each additional passenger is $8. This made our trip to this site expensive. Beautiful drive up to the top, and unfortunately,... More

The woods were clean, quiet, peaceful and beautiful! Several trails to choose from and lots of water sources around. Would go again...I bet fall would be awesome!

We did not know what to expect upon arrival and we were pleasently surprised. We can't wait to go back for longer next time.

My first trip to New Hampshire and I have fallen in love with White Mountain National Forest. From The Kancamagus Highway to Mount Washington. The rocks, rivers, foliage, and wildlife are absolutely amazing. I saw my first moose! A majestic but scary beast. So big. Lots of hiking trails and beautiful photo ops. One week is not enough here so... More

Back again to the White Mountains. Some of the best hiking in the world from easy to strenuous. Fishing rock climbing or just a beautiful drive. Waterfalls and senic views abound. Stop in the Whites you won't regret it.

one of our favorite places, and so much to do. Things on the "must do/see list" : Visit the Mount Washington Hotel, have lunch and a drink on the porch... one of the most relaxing experiences! Visit the little river park in North Woodstock center...purchase a solid tube ahead of time if you are adventuresome. Visit the jewelry store there... More
