Best swift pools along the Kankamangus Hwy for swimming and sunning on the boulders. Bring a picnic and towels and revel in New Hampshire, naturally. Splash among the crowds or find your own private spot. Reminiscent of Iao Valley, Maui. You will return again and again!

From the Kamagus Highway, which is closed during the winter months, upper and lower falls and Mt. Washington the views are breathless. There are many nice restaurants to stop at along the way.

New Hampshire has been blessed with the White Mountain National Forest. We have the beauty of the fall foliage (Take the train ride to Crawford Notch). The winter months show off the mountains with their groomed ski trails (I dare you to ski Cannon). The summer has the Kancamungus Highway with rivers and streams for swimming and the spring has... The White Mountains National Forest is a nature lover's dream - a plethora of trails on many mountains and caves and gorges to boot. Great for trips with families and friends as there are so many things to do. I visited during October and the fall foliage was beautiful!

Took a ride through these beautiful mountains on a warm sunny day in late September, and it was awesome. The leaves were just beginning to turn. We really enjoyed the lovely little towns, and covered bridges, and rocky streams all through the area.

This is such a special place for all ages. We love to hike, swim, ski etc. Great shopping. We saw a mother bear and her four cubs in the forest and also a mother moose and her baby. Amazing!!

Not to be missed. Beautiful trails and backpacking while being reasonable accessible by car. Best to go in Fall with the leaves covering the trails. No trail is very hard to hike. Kangamangus Highway is a beautiful ride.
