The White Mountains are the home to so many trails to hike, trails to walk and little villages to visit. Been coming here for 20 years at all times of the year. Never wears out.

skiing, cross country, snow shoeing, riding car through Kankamangas highway or route 302 is fun. Expect to see wildlife, moose and so forth.

Driving east from Lincoln along the Kangamangus Highway and then taking Bear Notch Road towards Barlett is quite the ride in the country. Bear Notch Road is closed in winter, however. From Barlett, proceed along 302 and then route 3 towards Cannon Mountain towards the natural attractions down... More

Loved the beautiful backroads and scenery. Quaint towns with really fun eateries to be discovered. Especially love coming down off the Kangamangus HWY into the Lincoln-Woodstock area. Great little shops and multitude of attractions to be had
