My husband and went to see Joan Rivers when she was in Keene. She was so good that we forgot how uncomfortable the seats are. Went there again to see a Christmas show and that was the most uncomfortable 2 hrs. The seats are very tight and no leg room whatsoever. Your knees touch the person in front of you,... More

Live entertainment, shows, movie, performers and so on. Today it looks very much like yesteryear.....when I was a child with my quarter. Today the fees are more but so is the entertainers. Joyous evening, love, love the Nutcracker on stage or bluegrass bands, oldies playing. Brings me back to childhood. Awesome time well worth the money on tickets.

Family friendly, fun, yet sophisticated atmosphere... good for all ages. Took my family to see a show, to include ages from my parents all the way down to my 2 year old. The theatre is beautiful, and the history of it dates back to the 1920's. A great night out for all...

This is an old theater with lots of life still in it. It has been tastefully restored, and fun to look at while awaiting the beginning of a show. I frequently attend concerts and shows at the Colonial. I am spoiled, as it is about 30 minutes from my home and has so many great shows each season. Parking is... More

Attended the Lyle Lovett concert here and certainly enjoyed the concert and the ambiance of this beautifully restored theater. Ushers line up to escort you to your seat and are very pleasant. Seats are comfortable and since it is such a small theater, all seats are great. Would definitely return and will be watching for future acts.

Movies, live local shows or the concert series, this beautiful, re-modeled theater is the place to go. There are no bad seats in this setting where you can admire the beauty of detailed ornamentation dating back to the 1920's and carefully preserved.

We have seen such headliners as Bill Cosby, Brian Regan, and Bob Marley all in little Keene, NH. We used to travel all over the Northeast to see comedians and other acts and at least 3-4 times a year they have acts that we would never get to see without traveling. We love it!!
