not a kids hike

nice view but it is a very very tuff hike , dogs had hard time getting up some of the spots . some of the trails on mts washington not as straight up as this trail

nice view but it is a very very tuff hike , dogs had hard time getting up some of the spots . some of the trails on mts washington not as straight up as this trail

We took cherry Mountain road........you can camp and hike here. it's a remote dirt road where I expected to see rainbow people. we went about 4 miles on this road and just saw tents and people chilling...really camping and in private. I think if I wanted to rough it...not have forrest rangers checking in on me every 10 minutes and... More

We thought we'd give this cut-across a try on our way back from Santa's Village to the Mount Washington Hotel. The road is largely unpaved and was pretty rough, even in our SUV. But have driven over the mountain several times. It's a dirt road, narrow in spots, but the scenery is beautiful. Trees, streams, an occasional waterfall. Many photo ops. We've also seen many animals- moose, bear, fox, on the journey. Not a ride for a low sitting car!!!
