This was one of the greatest experiences we've had in a very long time. My girlfriend and I decided to try this adventure, while the snow was so fresh and plentiful up in the White Mountains. We selected the half-day training and hands-on trip, so we could learn/do as much as possible (being mere ballast just didn’t sound like much... More

Up for a once-in-a-lifetime adventure? My girlfriend and I spent a half-day at Muddy Paws, learning how to actually mush a team of real sled dogs, before actually doing so. Some of these dogs had raced in the past, and all were eager to venture out on the trails. The kennel is located north of Franconia Notch (NH), and the... More

We can't say enough about this experience ! My husband and I had our first dog sled ride this week and have told everyone and anyone we spoke to how amazing it is was. We got to meet the team and help harness them, we had a 10 dog team on the larger sled. Our musher Matt was so knowledgable... More

Learned all about the dogs and their lifestyle -- our guide was very informative and friendly and the dogs are full of goodness .The ride through the woods for over an hour was beautiful. I can't wait to go back again one day. It was such a learning experience as well as thrilling ride on a snowy day -- with... More

Went to Muddy Paws for our very first dog sled experience and had a great time. Got hands on experience with the dogs meeting them and then harnessing them to the sled. Went out with musher Karen (a/k/a K2) who was very knowledgable and just a truly nice person. This has got to be one of our very favorite vacation... More

My son and I went out with musher Karen on a 3 hour sled excursion today and had an amazing time! Great interactions with the dogs. Hands on opportunities to harness the dogs and a perfect day weather wise all added up to a memorable 18th birthday celebration for my son and some very special memories for both of us.... More

We are long-time snowmobilers and have seen the Muddy Paw's sled dog teams out on the trails many times. We finally decided to try the tour and really enjoyed it. Our guide Karen (K2) did a great job introducing us to the dogs and then trained us on how to harness them to the sled. Every dog has its own... More

This place is worth the $ and drive! Over the river and through the woods with amazing and hard working sled dogs. Our guides, Matt & Matt, were awesome & informative...they knew all the dogs and their personalities.
