My husband has been in love with this kennel for a couple years now since we adopted our own two huskies. He follows Muddy Paws on Facebook and loves to see their pictures. I wanted to surprise him with a trip to go see them and arranged for a kennel tour. Our friend also came along as well. We went... More

Myself and the Four-Leggers thank you for the wonderful review of our kennel tours. We certainly enjoy showing people around and introducing them to each of our very special dogs! It is obvious our dogs obviously loved meeting you since they covered you in mud. You have now learned first hand why we are called Muddy Paw!! We hope you... More

When we booked this tour, originally it was about the sled ride. Once there, it was about something else for us, the love of all those dogs... So many abandoned dogs are sheltered there. As soon as you enter and the dogs see you, they all want to give and receive love. Lots of hugs, slobbery kisses and muddy paws... More

Myself and the Four-Leggers thank you for the awesome review. We always love taking guests out on dog sled rides but it truly means something to us when we can impart on guests what we do and why we do it! These dogs truly have so much love to give and we enjoy seeing the love that is returned to... More

Wow, where to begin. My husband and I and our 3 boys (ages 9, 11, 14) were in the area for a few days and looking for something different to do. This was it. I called in the morning about a tour that evening, but it was a cool day and rain was expected, so we were told we could... More

Myself and the Four Leggers thank you for your review of your recent rolling dog sled experience. Cool and sometimes raining days are usually the best time for our dogs to run since the do not like the heat. As you discovered there is a reason we are named Muddy Paw! We appreciate you braving the weather to enjoy our... More

My wife and I along with another couple went here for an adventure yesterday, Saturday, 7/19/14. We were met by Brianna who was very pleasant. She showed us around, introduced us to some of the dogs and was very informative. We then actually got to participate in hooking our team up to the sled. During the ride she explained a... More

Much more immersive and fun experience to go to them, where you'll get to see the whole peanut gallery, and meet & greet several friendly dogs. Dress down appropriately. The dogs crank up the excitement once the mushers start selecting and harnessing the teams, as they ALL want to be chosen ... "pick me!!" Definitely take the mushers offer to... More

This was one of the greatest experiences we've had in a very long time. My girlfriend and I decided to try this adventure, while the snow was so fresh and plentiful up in the White Mountains. We selected the half-day training and hands-on trip, so we could learn/do as much as possible (being mere ballast just didn’t sound like much... More

Up for a once-in-a-lifetime adventure? My girlfriend and I spent a half-day at Muddy Paws, learning how to actually mush a team of real sled dogs, before actually doing so. Some of these dogs had raced in the past, and all were eager to venture out on the trails. The kennel is located north of Franconia Notch (NH), and the... More
