Description: Muddy Paw Sled Dog Kennel is the premier dog sled touring operator in New...
Muddy Paw Sled Dog Kennel is the premier dog sled touring operator in New England. We offer year round dog sledding adventures that range from 2 - 50 miles (including overnights). All of our dog sledding experiences are designed to be hands on to the comfort level of the guests. Participants ages 2 and up are given the opportunity to meet and greet our rescue and second chance sled dogs, help harness and hitch their team and even help drive the sled (at musher discretion for guests and dog safety of course)! As always, the proceeds generated from our kennel based tours go directly to covering the expenses involved in taking in these incredible canine athletes and providing them with a home and job for life.

Signed up for a 1 Hour Tour at the Mt. Washington Hotel site. Incredible experience!! Our guides Wes and Brie were wonderful. They clearly like what they do and they love all their dogs. The dogs are healthy and happy and are well cared for. I loved being able to connect with the dogs and help harness them to our... More

Dog sledding - a Christmas gift from my husband, turned out to be the highlight of my winter (maybe even my year!!). We signed up for a two-hour dog sledding experience. We started out by learning about the dogs, greeting them and snuggling them. Lots of dog kisses later, owner Neil taught us how to properly strap each dog into... More

Felt a little nervous that the dogs would have to go on yet another run...when we arrived, met the dogs, and started to walk them over to the sled, each dog was sooooooo excited. What an amazing experience! Our guide Wes was wonderful and let us "help" by hooking the dogs into the harnesses!! Brie was awesome too!! What an... More

We had a great 3 hour trip in Jefferson NH with Muddy Paws Sled Dogs and our guide the owner Neil. We got to meet and interact with the dogs, learn their personalities and help hook up our team before our adventure. Neil was a great guide and very informative. You could tell the dogs really loved running and pulling... More

It is incredible to see how excited the dogs are to pull. They jump, bark, and let out cries as they wait for the musher to finally tell them they can move. I had a Siberian Husky growing up who would have loved doing what these Alaskan huskies get to do on a daily basis. I'm glad we booked the... More

This was our first time doing anything like this and I'd go back in a heartbeat. Our musher was incredible and the dogs took our breath away. My boyfriend and myself left wanting to adopt all the pups. The trip itself was hands down the best thing we've ever done. From helping harnessing the dogs, to hooking them up to... More

At first, the dogs are so nice and calm, let you pet them, just like the nicest pets. And then, as soon as the first dog gets hooked to the sled, all 140 dogs start jumping and barking and yelping. Every dog wants to run in every team. Once the sled starts, the twelve dogs in the team immediately get... More

My husband booked the half day clinic as a surprise birthday present for myself which is a four hour hands-on mushing experience for two adults. We met up with Wes (our musher) who spent the first 45 minutes of the clinic introducing us to the dogs. We loved meeting them and giving them each some individual attention. They were all... More

My husband booked the two hour dog sledding adventure as a surprise activity at the end of my birthday week vacation. Both of us genuinely don't have enough good things to say about the experience and the two hours flew by (even in the freezing cold). Our Musher, Beau, was incredible. He had an obvious love and understanding of all... More
