Skiing at Wildcat can seem intimidating, but once you try it, you'll be hooked! Best skiing in the area

Back to Wildcat while skiing in the area ... never disappoints! Love love love the high speed to the summit; lots of challenging hills and some more relaxing cruisers ... Wild Kitten (green) is so fun to spiral down on! Took our own lunch b/c previous experience was food was over-priced and underwhelming, posted prices seemed to reflect the usual... More

We were in Jackson for several days so we decided to take the Gondola Ride up the mountain. It was cool and windy even in August so take a jacket. Plenty of photo opportunities of the White Mountains and Mount Washington....but there are less expensive ways to get these views without hiking.

First off the Gondola has been gone for years! There is a lot of snow but little grooming, I only hope the plan is to groom the heck out of the place before Xmas. The sides of the trails are frozen crud as is. Rain and then freezing temps will make it impossible to ski most of the mountain. I... More

I would definitely recommend taking a Gondola ride up Wildcat Mountain. Although we went in the Summer, I would imagine that it would be even better in the Fall when the leaves are at peak colors. It was reasonably priced and the views of The Whites and Mount Washington are awesome! We actually got stuck up there for a little... More

Having both skied and hiked at Wildcat, I can submit to any outdoor enthusiast that Wildcat has some really good options. The skiing is good, and I found that using the slopes after some of the other areas have closed for the season is a bonus. My only negative comment about skiing is the mixing of skill levels on the... More

We are not skiers but went up to the mountain anyway. the drive up was really pretty. We went out looking for moose very early, so the roads were empty and the resort was closed, but next time I visit I willl go when people are awake!

With a view of Mount Washington just across the way, this ski hill is a must for anyone who wants to really ski New Hampshire. It is run by the State, so is cheaper than other ski hills in the area, and the terrain is some of the most challenging - but there are still beginner's runs near the bottom!

Wildcat has great top to bottom skiing, especially in the morning. I enjoy the shorter runs in the afternoon as the top can get a bit skied off.

I had a ticket for the gondola ride. It was a great ride with some of the most beautiful views of the White Mountains! All the employees were super friendly and I met some great people from Tennessee on top!
