We were two couples that booked for a 4:30 sleigh ride. While we were waiting around the nice outdoor firepit ten other people, all adults, also joined us. There was to be 12 people on the sleigh at the same time. When we loaded the sleigh we had to sit 4 on each bench with three in the back seat... More

The chocolate tour was like a scene out of winter-wonderland film. Our horse-drawn carriage took us around Jackson, NH to collect "chocolate treasures" (as they referred to them) from local inns, country stores, delis and cafes. We'd pull up at a local establishment and ring our little jingle bells that they had supplied. Townspeople from each location would then deliver... More

We had the sleigh to ourselves and the snow was perfect. There were ice skaters on the pond and bonfires around to warm yourself with. You could bring fixings for s'mores if you like. They had hot cocoa and a little warming hut with a fire in the fireplace. The sleigh was pulled by large beautiful draft horses and the... More

We visited the grounds to go outdoor ice skating, unfortunately it was snowing pretty hard and were unable to skate on the ice that evening. We decided last minute to do a sleigh ride with the kids in the snow. First let me say- I would have given it a 5 star if we could have enjoyed the ride. We... More

Lots of snow, lights and pretty scenery. However, somewhat deserted; only a handful of people around. Don't know if anyone was actually staying there are just visiting the grounds. Beautiful frozen river to go ice skating and sleigh rides around the area.

We did a one horse open sleigh ride. The ride was fun, going around the property. The sleigh driver was very personable and clearly loved his job and knew the history of Nestlenook. I had hoped that we would be going through woods or more isolated areas, but the ride was still quite fun.

Went to Jackson twice with two different boyfriends to have a romantic get away from the city. I wanted to ice skate outside and ONLY outside. I found Nestlebrook and at first glance it looked like a really tacky Disney type place and specifically for the under 12 crowd - I was determined to ice skate under the stars like... More

I can't even begin to tell you how beautiful this place is!! I scheduled a 5:00 sleigh ride for my sister, my 88 yr old mom and myself. We arrived a bit early and really enjoyed watching skaters on the huge pond and sitting by the fire waiting for our sleigh to arrive. Despite being just 13 degrees out, it... More
