A quick walk from the bridge, a nice jaunt before dinner. You can follow a sidewalk for most of the way. At the lower end there is a gazebo for a nice spot to catch up on some reading.

Short but beautiful walk in and around Jackson Falls. The walk up is steep but not too challenging. There are areas along the walk that you can step out onto the rocks and see some very pretty views of the town and the mountains. There was nothing to dislike as far as I'm concerned.

True,..it is an outdoor paradise. From the time you pass over the covered bridge until you're too tired to explore any more, no matter the season, there's always something to do....or nothing It depends on you. There are many organized events during the year.( Visit Jackson Area Chamber of Commerce.com) website. If you want be on your own, well hiking... More

These are just beautiful and they are right there! No long hike to get there. We have so enjoyed jackson! We stayed in early may. Great time of year. No traffic and nice and quiet! I will come back again at this time of year!

This is a lovely area. The falls are gentle, with large areas of rock to walk out on. There are numerous locations for photos. Nearby is the Honeymoon Bridge. The community of Jackson is quaint!

I have been here during all of the four seasons. Spring and fall are the best. The place gets very busy during the summer. Great spot for a swim. In the early spring, when all the snow is melting upstream, the water really moves quickly. By summertime, the falls are more of a trickle. The trees changing colors on the... More

Short walk from Jackson. Good views. Very photogenic Look at Youtube video of the Ellis River in flood; it's not normally like that.

Although covered over by ice and snow at this time of year, it was nice to view the falls and enjoy a brisk, challenging hike up one side and down the other. Be careful of vehicles though.

Great place to view some ledges and swimming. The mountain views are gorgeous. Family orientated, good place to enjoy a book, be wary too of your youngsters-sometimes creeps come around too. Just be aware of your surroundings and they go away.

It was very charming, but not spectacular like the Crawford Notch and the other mountain areas. Maybe it was because it was raining, but it is still pretty, and a nice, gentle walk for Jackson.
