We wenot with our 2 yo and 4mo this week on a bit of a whim. We grabbed our picnic blanket and an extra suit from the car and climbed around for an hour or so. Easily accessible from the parking area, though there are only a few spots. We had been to Diana's baths earlier that week, and I... More

The Jackson Falls are amazing. There are several pools where you can wade and even some spots you can swim. We went there twice while on vacation and can't wait to go back. There are enough spots to find your own little area and the water is clean and refreshing. Unlike some other falls, you do not have to hike... More

Nice area to relax and take a dip in the smaller and calmer pools created between the waterfalls. Just be aware that the rocks you need to transverse out to the pools are very slippery.

Great place to sit, relax, have lunch with great views, and cool off in the water. There are multiple levels and areas to set up chairs, blankets, etc. You can sit & relax to the sound of the rushing water, climb the different levels, or wade in one of the pools. Great for families of all sizes. We went there... More

This is only a few steps from the road with lots of cascades and small falls. There are many large flat rocks for sitting or standing on to enjoy the pleasant views.

Found the falls by accident while taking pics of some of the quaint buildings and homes in The village of jackson. Heard it behind one of the local buildings and wondered where the noise was coming from. Nice to relax and put your feet in the water and watch the falls flow. Outside of the red Jackson Covered bridge there... More

Fabulous falls! Beautiful views. Thundering water! Wonderful refreshingly cold water. Warm rocks. Renew your spirit. (On the way don't miss Falls Cottage)

These are a group of gentle falls right off the road in Jackson. It's perfect for kids to splash and explore. The rocks are a little slippery, use caution. The water is a little on the cold side but perfect for a hot summer day. There are several deeper pools where you can get completely underwater to cool off! Keep... More

Spent a few hours enjoying this natural wonder with the kids (7 & 8). Long stretch of waterfalls/pools to keep the kids busy. Plenty of spots to set up chairs and a few picnic tables as well. Slippery rocks can be a bit treacherous for kids and adults alike but definitely a great way spend a few hours with a... More
