Our family (kids ages 10 & 8) decided to try skiing for the first time and showed up at the ticket house with no reservations. The staff was amazing and before we knew it we had been outfitted in rentals and were meeting our instructor for lessons. The instruction was great, and we spent a couple of hours exploring some... We stayed in town for two nights on a whim and decided to take a skiing lesson for the heck of it. The staff in the ticketing/rental center were very helpful and excited for us to try the sport. Our instructor, Sally, was great and made it an enjoyable afternoon. We'll definitely be back to the area again, and we... More

We spent the day exploring the trails along the river and through the forest. The trails were perfectly groomed and the weather could not have been better. We will definitely remember this place and come back to do the rest of the trails next year.

We have been xc skiing here for years but decided this time to try snowshoeing and loved it! We stay at Eagle Mountain House and can start from right behind the hotel. Snowshoed down to Mirror Lake, over to Sprucewood, around the Flume Path and back up to the hotel. There was a light snow the night before and we... More

Jackson's trails are well groomed and well maintained; to us it was the mecca of cross country skiing. It was zero degrees out but we had a great time.

We came to Jackson for the cross-country skiing, and were not disappointed. We were able to ski for three days, and each day did a different trail. On one trail there is even a rest stop where you can get hot chocolate and snacks. Trails were always well-groomed and marked. There were plenty of "easier" trails to choose from. The... More

3 years ago, my husband and I took their beginners Nordic ski class. It is now a tradition that we go up for a couple of days each year. There are many trail options for both experienced and beginner skiers. The trails are groomed and scenic. Our favorite trail is the wave. The staff is welcoming and informative. Jackson is... More

Snow was great, but boy was it disappointing to ski all the way from Jackson Village to the Dana Place Inn (5.5 miles) for lunch and find out, in contrast to it being shown on the map given to us when we arrived, that it had been shut down! Pretty hungry while skiing the 6 miles back on an empty... More

We scheduled a private XC lesson for our family of four, two children under the age of 6 and had a great time. The trails were easy and the scenery was also wonderful. We will definitely come back.
