Great experience for my son, wonderful owners that were friendly and helpful. The ride-on train is fun for kids and big kids too

We were on vacation in North Conway and passed Hartmann's on the way to Attitash. Being a model train buff, I forced the family to go on the way back. :) It looks like this place opened in 1970 and hasn't changed much since then. Like other reviewers, we had children with us, and were reminded to not let them... More

My wife and I arrived at the train museum with our 5 year old and 3 year old. Both children were very excited to ride the train outside, but we wanted to do the museum first. For the four of us it was about $20 to get in, which I thought was not too bad. The boys did like the... More

I did not check reviews before stopping, though I did not have high hopes based on the quality of the website. Though now and then, one is pleasantly surprised at these hole-in-the-walls: this was not one of those times. My husband, my 4 year old, my 1 year old and I visited. The baby was being worn in a carrier... More

We stopped here to kill some time before going to dinner. I have 2 boys ages 11 and 13 and it was me and my husband. We stepped into the hobby shop and should have walked right out. The woman greeted us - friendly at first but then came "Boys, I need to remind you look with your eyes and... More

I took my wife and my 3year old son to Hartman Train Museum on Feb 22 14. As my family and I entered the museum, we were greeted by the owner. The owner was very nice and respectful to my family. Mr Hartman advised us there were rules upon entering the museum. He gave us a brief run down. As... More

I was in the store on 02/15/2014 to view their selection of N Gauge European trains and models. I attempted to look at several selections of freight cars at significant costs. The owner would not allow me to examine the product and just shook her head No when I was examining the packaging. Based on the age of the Noch,... More

This place was beyond terrible and the staff were obnoxious and RUDE! We were in and out in 10 minutes and I'm more upset with the fact the kids (9, 6, and 5 yrs old) were subjected to cruel treatment. There were five of us and immediately after saying the routine "hello" the kids were mildly scolded with, "don't touch... More
