This was a quick stop we made the morning of our departure from NH. I loved walking all of the trails quickly (I think doing everything took about an hour, and was maybe 2 miles). The trails were well marked, and views of the lake were pretty.

If you're in the area it's a must do hike around part of the very scenic NewFound lake. Half the hike has lake views and the other half is a quiet walk in the woods. We did it Thanksgiving week so no insects!

The kids were really into the exhibits. We asked about the turtle and the guide brought out the turtle's food. This turned into a question and answer session. It was raining so we did not walk around outside. The indoor part held us for about 40 minutes.

This was like a mini science center and I did not expect it to be so child friendly.... More

I picked up a flyer in the local pizza place that listed programs for children at Paradise Point. I signed my son up for a 90 minute program with a naturalist. Despite vacationing in this area for over 20 years, I had somehow never made it over to Paradise Point. I did not know what I had been missing! My... More
