Almost in the middle of nowhere stands Dartmouth, one ivy league that stands out in many fields. Walking in the open campus, watching students passing by, rehearsing dramas and simply sipping at Cafe facing the campus, makes a truly unique experience. Stop by Hanover if you are driving across the highway 91.

College should be all about getting the best liberal arts education possible. There is plenty of time to narrow one's focus in graduate school, so getting a broad education as an undergraduate is not only critical but much more fun. Dartmouth has very good graduate programs (see Tuck and Thayer), but the real focus of Dartmouth is on its undergraduates.... More

I am biased, because I attended Dartmouth, but it really is a beautiful place. It's nice to stroll down Main Street or to walk around the Green, which is the center of campus. If you want to go to a good, old fashioned diner-type restaurant, try Lou's, which is on Main Street. It's been there since 1947. The Hood Museum... More

It has a lovely campus, doesn't seem overwhelming in size. who wouldn't want to go there. We love the weather, it was just the right temp and we were there in June, the restaurants and little shops around town all within walking distance. The whole place is just quaint and friendly.

A beautiful campus full of smart, super friendly students and everyone bleeds green! I haven't met a student that doesn't love being there.

Returned with my family 25 years after graduating. The school is a fantastic place. The campus is beautiful and the art throughout worth seeing. Worth a visit if you are in the area

Dartmouth Greens was a beautiful sight. The Baker Library Tower was imposing. Would definitely visit again.

If you want to visit a college town that hasn't changed much in 100 years, come to Main Street in Hanover. Dominated by young people (presumably from Dartmouth), Hanover is a lovely town that bleeds green. For the wealthy mainly . . .

Gorgeous campus. Good tour. But my oh my, was it COLD! We dipped in and out of buildings to stay sane. The town of Hanover is just so quaint and lined with little shops and decent eateries.
