Nice clean beach

Hampton Beach is a nice beach to walk along and just comb for "treasures". Either as a couple or with children. We even saw horseback riders there. It was fun.

Hampton State Beach is one of the northeast United States' more accessible beaches. Separated into two distinct sections the 'main' beach, with all its attractions, restaurants, hotels and crowds, and the 'north' beach with its packed sand, surfers, quiet streets and summer homes. As stated in the title of this review, the Atlantic Ocean with its incessant waves and motion... More

The beach was fantastic. Clean. Crowded but not too much. People were nice. Broadwalk was fun with a lot of activities, wonderful beach, clean sand, life gards on duty on the day, free concerts at night, fireworks, clean public toilets, free shower, a lot of nice restaurants & shops, .... We loved it and will return again.

I stayed downtown near music venue and enjoyed my beach time compared to staying in Boston to catch the airport. The local casino was bringing in mid range music acts that brought people to town in the off season. Good time.

Always one of favorite beach destinations in the Northeast. Clean beaches with a strip with food and shopping. Return as often as we can.

Stopped here while traveling the 1A. Great place to get photos of the New Hampshire coast. It was late November so it was not crowded.

Hampton Beach has it all. If you're looking for a relatively quiet time head to the north end of the regular beach or the actual North Beach area. North Beach also has surfing lessons. In town there is plenty happening. Typical beach boardwalk with junky food like fried dough and pizza and shops, arcades, groups of young people roaming, families... More

Beautiful beach. Went in September, was warm and sunny The beach was busy, but not crowed. A perfect late summer, early fall vacation. Lot's of family places to eat at, and lots of shops to shop in just a short distance from the beach.

It's good to get away from the heavy crowd close to the boardwalk during the summer months by going to Hampton State Beach during the week. It has all the facilities needed to have relaxing day and if you choose to spend some time on the boardwalk its just a short walk along the beach. I highly recommend this State... More
