Hampton is awesome...but really really crowded in the summer. The large expanse of clean sand is extremely popular and the town itself is rocking as soon as school lets out. Tons of eateries and T shirt shops, but the fun is watching the millions in their summer wear enjoying the day...parking is good, lots of spaces!

This beach is beautiful. the sand is soft and light. The beach is clean and the waves are georgous. Very clean beach. Well patrolled with the town police so very safe feeling. there were people surfing when i was there. Will definitely come back.

I looked it up on the internet and the roar of the ocean is caused by the ocean waves picking up stones, Hampton beach must have a lot of stones, because this ocean roars. I really loved listening to it every night in my hotel room. During this time of the year, not many people went to the beach, so... More

We went in the off-season and it was gorgeous. I've heard, though, that during the actual "beach season" there are people from one end of the beach to the other, which would not appeal to me.

I love Hampton Beach. Whether it's the state beach near Seabrook and the bridge, or the boulevard a little further up. Parking can always be found (note, we never go on a holiday weekend). It's clean, well patrolled. The bathhouses are very convenient. There are plenty of food vendors on the boulevard. We save quarters all year to have a... More

In the off-season it is a magnificent and wide walking beach for the seagulls, dogs and people. It is quiet and contemplative. During the summer months it is packed wall to wall with people. Arrive early and pay, pay for parking

Hampton is a clean beach with lots to do around it. It's one of the best beaches in the area. There's stores,, hotels and good restaurants to visit when you get sick of swimming and tanning.

Boogie boarded for the first time. My BF kept up with all the 10 year old kids, but I need some practice. As the day went on, the beach became more & more crowded during the high tourist season. The beach was clean. Especially romantic to walk hand & hand at low tide early in the morning.

This beach was clean with a lot of restaurants, shopping, amusements, & nightlife on the boardwalk. The parking was a bit tough to find, but it was worth the circling around the few blocks a couple of times until we found somewhere. A great place to visit if you are in Souther New Hampshire (coastline).
