It is a great family beach during the day. The surf can be rough and the water cold though, but it is New Hampshire after all. The board walk is much better than it was 20 years ago. The parking is limited in the spots and it takes a while to drive down the main road with people looking for... More

We love the beach and the boardwalk. We have been enjoying this beach for many, many years, and the shops are always fun to check out. I do not like that there are so many inconsiderate smokers, and cigarette butts everywhere, and I really dislike the vulgarity of the souvenir items in the little shops. When travelling with children, this... More

Excellent place to worship sun & sea. Clean bright sand, impressive clean facilities, and plenty to do.

You really can't beat Hampton Beach for a great beach to spend a day or weekend. It is very clean, bright, safe, and exciting. On the beach and sidewalks there is no trash. Some of the restaurants has overflowing outside barrels, but nothing too bad. All the common areas such as bathrooms, concert area, signage for the streets all look... More

Lots to do. Lots of restaurants and shops that look over the beach. Trucked in sand. Very clean. Lots of family things to do. Movies on the beach. Great for families with kids of all ages. Watch your little ones as traffic is busy and there's a lot of ignorant drivers on motorcycles and tricked out cars.

The sand is clean and it's big, busy and boisterous. If you're looking for an unsophisticated time with lovely sand and lots of attractions, you'll love it here. I liked it, I didn't feel uncomfortable or unsafe, although I just prefer slightly quieter places.

This is not a place for a relaxing getaway. Maybe on winter time, but definitely not on warm weather. The beach is extensive with three big bathhouses and a stage for events. There are arcades, gift stores, food stands, restaurants, rentals, hotels and one casino alongside the main road. It is a crowded place everyday, specially on weekends. So, if... More

The state park is lovely. A really, really beautiful white sand beach. Could have played out here for a day easy. There are some nice dunes that are fun to look at. A good facility with ample showers. Pavilion, etc. Go after 7 (closes at 8) and park for free to enjoy the beach at sunset. A great place for... More
