Wildflower fields and the Lupine Festival for pretty much the month of June was a joy. Flowers were lovely, vistas fantastic, drives wonderful. We even saw a bear on one of the back roads. We stayed for a little over 2 weeks and enjoyed the whole time relaxing and taking pictures.

Beautiful Fall Drive and we were able to stop at a market to get smoked cheddar and crackers. Pretty drive and we didn't have to go far to find the fall colors.

Sugar Hill gives some of the best - if not *the best* - views of the White Mountains. Take a walk down Sunset Street - walk up and back (both directions) - and never grow tired of the views. The views not only vary with the seasons, but also with local weather conditions. A wonderful New Hampshire classic !

We had a personally guided tour of the Sugar Hill area, including Sugar Hill Inn. The area is beautiful and the Inn historic and enchanting.

Surgar Hill offers some the most spectaular views of the White Mountains. Lost to see and do in the area. In Sugar Hill great antique shop and Harman's Cheese Store with the best cheddar cheese. In Franconia if you visit on the right day stop into the Garnet Hill outlet shop as the make the best sheets. Hiking strolling or... More

Don't miss Polly's, Harman's Cheese Store, the Sugar Hill Historical Museum, there is even an airfield on the Easton Road where you can ride a glider. The area is uncrowded and beautiful.

Lots of scenic byways and stops to explore. Try finding Slippery Rock while in the area. Cheese shop and Sugar Hill are always favorites.

This area offers great views, some lovely shops and resturants, and just plain New England charm. Polly's Pancake Parlor is a real treasure for great food and even greater views.
