It was nice, not the highlight of Franconia Notch Park, oddly enough. It was just a part of the whole. Make sure to walk to the Basin when there.

Took the tram to the top of the mountain. Great views for hundreds of miles. The tram car operator was interesting.

Worth the drive to see the scenic views as well as stopping stopping to do a little hiking. Very nice.

I have spent a lot of summers in New Hampshire but only in the Conway area. Going to the notch is breath taking. The views of the mountains and the incredible scenery is just amazing I can't wait to go back, such a peaceful place with rich history!

Honestly, I have not spent enough time in Franconia. More often than not, I'm driving through The Notch wishing I could stop. I've driven extensively through 30 of the 50 United States (mostly east of the Mississippi and along the Atlantic) and can say confidently that the drive north or south on I-93 through Franconia is one of my top... Absolutely breathtaking. Gorgeous place to visit in the winter. A lot of sites to go to as well. Definitely a site to see!

Beautiful, especially in the fall. There is the park and then the drive through the notch. The drive has several places to pull over and take in the scenery.

This was my most favorite walk (hike) of my trip. Take a walking stick if walking is at all difficult. There is a boardwalk climbing up the gorge. It is beautiful and worth the effort. The leaves were gorgeous and there are some very interesting ancient trees with roots which seem to grow around rocks.

What a beautiful nature hike!! At the south end of Franconia Notch, the Flume is a mountain stream with waterfalls between high granite walls. You climb through the gorge via a boardwalk. This is not an easy climb. At times it is steep and it is 1.5 miles round trip. However, if you are an adventurer and fairly fit, go... More
