The views at the bottom, top, and at each altitude in between, on Cannon Mountain, are simply breathtaking! We went up in the 80-person gondola, which I thoroughly enjoyed. At the top, we walked the rim trail, and climbed up the stairs to the observation tower. At the top is also a small restaurant and a brewery. If you buy... More

As we were on a driving vacation, we came to this part of New England to see the views from the top of the mountain. Well, the weather let us down. But, we made the most of it. We still caught the tram up to the top, good views until half way up, then low cloud and mist spoilt the... More

Took the tram up to the summit, the views from the observation tower are amazing, worth the walk along the trail that takes you around the top.

We were so looking forward to this, and though it's a beautiful place on a sunny day and offers great views, all i can remember is the bugs. First I got bit on the tram uphill, and once we reached the summit they were all over the place. Not sure if these are seasonal bugs, but it is advisable to... More

Sadly despite the sunshine it was hazy, but that did not detract in anyway from the experience of riding the cableway tram up to the summit or the walk laid out around the peak. The tram on the way up was slowed for passengers to admire a black bear wandering the grassy ski runs and despite the haze we had... More

The guide up the tram "Jack" was very informative. Talked about the mother bears and cubs and the different peaks. The top has a loop trail to the tower. Take it. It is just awesome with views from rocky cliffs. Not for small kids though. 9 year olds and older would be safest on trail. Listen to the thrush and... More

The price was right (two for one) for a day of Spring skiing at Cannon Mountain. I took my younger son, who had never previously gone skiing, and we had a great day together. The family ski area was particularly great - a bunch of green runs and three blue runs. We never once stood in line. We rented skis... More

We visited in the fall (so no skiing or snowboarding) but we took the Aerial Tram up the mountain. For a small price we bought round trip tickets for a ride up the mountain that will surely be pleasing to your eyes if you're lucky enough to go on a day when it's not crowded or you get close enough...
