Cannon Mountain is a skier's paradise if you like lots of long, steep, tough terrain. I love the old-school feel and the people who work there are wonderful. We experienced Bodefest for the first time this year and were so impressed by the generous nature of the staff and volunteers. I would highly recommend a visit and am excited to... More

We fell in love with Cannon this year. The snow making is decent and the natural snowfall at Cannon is unbelievable. Conditions in April were better than most other New Hampshire ski areas offered in February. We haven't tried the 70-Passenger Aerial Tramway as it's usually closed during the midweek (and was closed for the remainder of the season on... More

We cannot say enough about the ski school. Our 4yo twins are relatively new skiers and are at different levels. The staff was great with making them comfortable and confident. They worked with them individually when they could and even diagnosed and rectified my son's issue with his ski boot. Miss Ellen unfortunately hit her head on the slope when... More

Very pleasantly surprised with Cannon Mountain. Spent 2 days here in Mid-March and can't wait to go back. Spent 2 previous days at a nearby resort where the slopes were not nearly as challenging as Cannon. From top to bottom, Cannon has the pitch, turns, and terrain to make skiing fun. This is where Bode Miller got his start and... More

My family and I went skiing for the first time at Cannon over spring break. My son room a 3 hr one on one session with an instructor. My wife and I had a one and half hour school with 4 others and Ellen was very helpful. The older gentlemen was a little stern and didn't understand that not all... More

I had always heard that Cannon was for experienced skiers only....not true!! Tuckerbrook is the only place my kids (ages 7 and 11) want to ski!! They learned to ski years ago at the ski school at Cannon and have been loyal Cannon skiers ever since. There is no better value for families than the Tuckerbrook ski area at Cannon.... More

Today we skied Cannon for the first time this ski season. As is usual at Cannon and Franconia Notch, weather can be highly variable. Today the clouds were very low, it was snowing and the visibility was poor. Cannon can be an exceptional mountain. Today, due to the freeze the night before and poor visibility, the skiing was not without... More

I went to Cannon for the first time to Cannon Mountain ski area. It is known as a skiers mountain and I can see why. Plenty of Black Diamond slopes to entertain the more serious of skiers. They were making plenty of snow and had a decent amount of the mountain open, but not the whole mountain. The base lodge... More
