The ride up the tram is okay. Most people have to stand as there is seating for maybe 6 people while the car can hold a max of 80. Once at the top, walking a short trail will reward you with an amazing view of the mountains and below. (There's also a lodge with food and beverages and places to... More

I went there in August to ride the tramway. It was a breathtaking experience. Not for the faint of heart but well worth it for people that want to try something new.Very friendly and informative staff.

The tram is fun, although there are few seats and most people have to stand. At the top is a lodge where you can get slightly overprices food and drinks. They claim to have the highest altitude beer tap in New England. You can get a nice view from the lodge's outdoor deck area or take a walk to an... More

The ride up was fun but the views from the top were awesome! Hike up if you are adventurous or do the Rim hike at the top. All very worth while - especially on a clear day!

Take the tram up, fair price, buy the flume and tram ticket together. You don't have to do both in the same day. Great paths at summit for walking/ hiking, great views! Easy walk to observation tower! Snack bar at top for lunch is fine but as to be expected a little pricey. Good ice cream though!o

It was fun to take the tram up to the top of the mountain and after a short walk to the observation tower, you are rewarded by amazing views.

This was something I usually wouldn't do, but thoroughly enjoyed. I loved the sights from the mountain and the trip up and back. I felt it was totally worthwhile and a great addition to my trip.

If you like seeing for miles, you enjoy heights, and you don't mind walking a bit, then this is definitely for you. Hike up or take the aerial tramway, the views are unbelievably beautiful, there's a cafeteria at the top, and you can take the tramway back down. Go on a sunny day.

Wow... On the way up and down. Beautiful view. Just gets more breathtaking when you climb all the way up to the tower and to the top. Really no words for it. But if you don't like heights take it easy at the tower. The wind can make it feel like it is shaking a bit. We thought that it... More

We did the tram ride as prt of a package deal with tickets to Flume Gorge. Much cheaper as a package deal and very close together (one exit apart off 93). The tram ride itself was fun, especially for the kids, but the views at the top were spectacular. Restaurant and bar at summit with surprisingly good sandwiches...but bring your... More
