We can't wait to do this again!

We LOVED tubing on the Saco. I wish we had know how much fun it was going to be and we would have booked a longer excursion. Our family did this over vacation with seven children... read more

Yesterday was my birthday and we decided to go canoeing. We live in MA, took the day off from work, and drove three hours specifically for this. We called an hour ahead and told the gentleman we would be there right at 2pm, which is their last start time. We got held up in nearby contstruction and arrived at 2:19.... More

Hello Jessica I am sorry we could not accommodate you on your birthday due to road construction. Unfortunately the 5 mile trip takes 2-4 hours of paddling to complete. These times are approximate and all boats are do back by 5 pm when we close. The average time is 3 hours. Since you arrived at 2:19. Our last shuttle left... More

I made a mistake and called another company Saco Bound who quoted us a price. I to Saco Canoe here and thought it was the same company. ( see my next review for Saco Bound, they were fantastic). The price was 30 more than Saco Bound and the girl who waited on us was rude and abrupt. They were not... More

We didn't actually use this company, but we should have and I'll tell you why. All the kayak and tube companies around drop you off on the river in the same place. The issue we ran into was getting off the river. Our take out spot was the same as Saco Canoe rental but while the people who used saco... More

The tubing was fun and relaxing. The river was clean and not to deep. Loved it. Did not love the rental company. We called the day before and made our reservations for early in the morning. We arrived the following day (30 min.) early for our reservation to complete disorganization. Because of this we wasted over 2hours of our time... More

We LOVED tubing on the Saco. I wish we had know how much fun it was going to be and we would have booked a longer excursion. Our family did this over vacation with seven children ranging from 10 to 17. My sister and her 6 year old were also with us. The six year old got a little bored... More

My wife & I went on a 3 mile tubing adventure.... The water in the river was crystal clear and somewhat cool... Most of the float was un eventful or relaing, depending on what you are looking for... There were 4 fun ripple areas that were challenging to navigate on the tubes ( I would advise purchasing a paddle, especially... More

My husband and I did a 3 mile, tubing trip that included 4 rapids. The moving water (rapids) were fun...the 3rd rapids was my favorite because you didn't get stuck in the boulders. The slow water was very slow...in hind sight I would have bought the tubing paddle for $6, it would have made things a lot easier. The departure... More

We booked a 7.8 miler kayaking trip and had an absolute blast the entire time! The staff was totally awesome and were very patient with us while we asked a million questions while deciding which kayaking trip we would like to partake in...The day of the trip the staff were super friendly and super helpful and truly helped make this... Our trip was on a Sunday morning. We chose the 1.5 mile float as we had little ones(youngest 4 1/2) with us and wasnt sure how they would be on the water. They absolutely loved it. Even disappointed when it was over. Next year we will do the 5 mile float. We packed lunch and drinks and stopped on sandbar... More

We booked the day before we kayaked for 3 of us, two adults and a 13 year old. We weren't really sure of how the system worked and had decided to do the trip of approx 4 miles. We hadnt realised that the time you arrive dictates the trip. We ended up on the 7.8 mile paddle down the Saco.... More
