This is a small lake and park right in North Conway. Never crowded when we're there. I recommend driving up to the ledges for a fantastic view!!! You can do a quick tour in an hour or less, I highly recommend seeing Echo lake if you're in the area

For $20.00 per hour we rented two single kayaks. The lake is very pretty....right at the foot of Cannon Mt. The staff should empty the kayaks of water, assist in finding safety vests and assist in shoving the boats out. We sat in puddles of water...the boats were not doable for us to empty. The staff here was uninterested in... More

We parked in the large parking lot, walked down the slope to the beach and water. Our family had several hours of enjoyment at the lake. I didn't go in the water, but the 10 year old and her uncle did. From their reactions, the water was colder than expected. Areas are roped off for swimming and it wasn't very... More

We love this place. It's so beautiful and swimming in the lake with that amazing back drop is awesome. It does get busy on weekends especially but if you get there for 10am it's often deserted. The sandy beach is perfect for smaller children and there's plenty of shade.

This is a beautiful park, well worth the entry fee of $4 pp. The lake is gorgeous, with a nice swimming area and picnic tables back in the trees. Found out why they called it Echo Lake, the cliff faces on the other side must make the echos the kids loved to make. There were hiking trails which we did... More

This was a lovely find. For about $4 per person you get an entire day of fun. From picnics, to hikes, and swimming there is something for everyone. The lake trail is great. Even for novice hikers such as my husband and I we had no problem. It is a gorgeous lake with amazing views of the rock ledge above.... More

Very pretty lake right across from Cathedral Ledge. Can't think of another lake hereabouts that has such a view. Only thing close is Echo Lake on Mt. Desert Island. Nice sandy beach, not huge but ample, with picnic tables and lifeguards and bathrooms. There is a fee of a few bucks each. You can walk around the lake but we... More

Echo Lake has a lot going for it, which is why we return each year and enjoy introducing friends to it as well. From June--September, the swimming is fine. Water couldn't be considered warm, but comfortably refreshing. The lake is sandy-bottomed and there is a nicely maintained sandy beach area as well. It's a great place to picnic, as there... More

We were supposed to go to Echo Lake for one day of our vacation to give our grandson some play time, it was so nice we spent 3 days there. At $4 per adult per day it was a real bargain. The beach and water are very clean, and amazingly warm. The water is quite shallow so the little ones... More
