Not my favorite mountain

There is way too much poling to get around between the mountains and on some trails. They also need more faster lifts, we felt we were back on a mountain 30 years ago.

We have been staying at Attitash Mountain Village during February break for a few years. Our family of four has always enjoyed our stay and have been pleased with the accommodations. It's a great location and the studio rooms in the past have been fine. This year, we walked into a very dated and "dumpy" studio. Old wall paper that... More

Zach was a fun instructor. He was patient with my wife and I while showing us what to do with this being our first time ever snowboarding. The people at the front desk were very helpful also.

Neither of us have been to Attitash for number of years but we had a nice day today on their intermediate trails. A good amount of snow cover - enjoyed the cruisers over on Bear Mountain especially. Need connector trail between two mountains that's less work, need better chocolate chips cookies, better hot chocolate at Bear Mountain lodge. Also, stayed... More

I've been snowboarding for ten years. It's a lot of fun if you get there early for the best snow conditions, most of the time. It usually gets very icy later on in the day which sucks for snowboarding. It's two mountains Attitash and Bear Peak both have there ups with few downs. It's like $75 for a full day... More

My fiance and I are average/above average skiers and took our 7 yo for their $19 special Monday as we are teaching him to ski this year. Probably not the best mountain for a first year skier. Although I have enjoyed the mountain in the past - I failed to realize there are far too few "Green" trails for a... More

Went skiing at Attitash last weekend. Mountain was well groomed, no lines and nice staff. Only complaint was the children's morning group lesson. Children are asked to check in between 8:30-9:00. They then sit in learning center until 10:00 when they go out for their lesson. My son was paired with another child at slower ski ability. Thus the lesson... More

We love Attitash, both the Attitash side and the Bear Peak Side ... but Attitash really needs to look after two areas that are lacking (IMHO): (1) install padding on the backs of the Flying Yankee and the not-so-flying quad to the summit ... we skied recently (Jan 2015) and got very cold in part b/c your back is up... My experience at Attitash - snowmaking was good, there were a lot of trails open in spite of a lack of natural snow this year. We've skied this mountain many times and they treat you very well for customer service. This mountain could be a 5 star mountain if they replaced the slow triple lift to the summit with a... More

This year there has been a lack of natural snow. So ski areas are forced to rely on snowmaking. Conditions were prime for snowmaking yesterday. It was cold and little wind. With only two thirds of the runs open approximately one third remain closed. Yet there was no snowmaking! No snow in the forecast, warmer weather in the forecast. Why... More
