My wife and I were promised a wondrous sunset cruise to see Emerald Bay with a superb meal. Instead I had a very poor steak, half gristle and served cooler than room temperature. We ordered the two best wines by the glass they offered and they were undrinkable so we sent them back. Our waiter dropped our food off and... More

One of the best short cruises I have ever done. The boat is slightly dated but great, views are obviously awe-inspiring (it's Tahoe!) and their food was surprisingly good & sumptuous! (We couldn't finish it!) They'd also do a side order of fries and fried chicken if you have kids that won't eat anything else (PS: kids under 3 go... More

We took a late morning cruise from Zephyr Cove to Emerald Cove. The ship was clean, and had ample restrooms and bars and dining areas. We sat in the front of the boat on the third deck. The views were fabulous because Tahoe and the surrounding mountain ranges make for beauty. There was a narrator for the history of the... More

We were on the Dixie on August 16th for the dinner cruise. It was so relaxing and such a smooth ride. The food was good, the scenery beautiful and the band was great! They played a wide variety of music and there were many "rocking out" and dancing to the music. There was a narrative of Lake Tahoe's history including... More

We took our mother on this for her 87th birthday. She said it was the best birthday she has ever had! She loved the band that was playing (we all did!), the food was good, and everyone was nice and friendly. It really was a perfect evening and well worth it.

Excellent food, Excellent cruise, and great entertainment to boot. Would and will do it again. whether this is your fist time to the lake or not, I highly recommend taking the M.S. Dixie II dinner cruise. Very romantic and has everything you would want from a dinner cruise.

It's pretty rare that you can write a review where you can't fault them for anything but that is the case with our experience on this cruise line. In four years of going to Lake Tahoe this is the best tourist activity we've done. We weren't picked up at our hotel but it was only a five minute walk to... More

Went on Sunset Dinner cruise, we were picked up at Harvey's casino in a air conditioned bus, there is also ample parking at launch site if you choose to drive. Were greeted on board with a glass of champagne . There are two seatings for dinner , we choose the first . Dinner consisted of a salad, entre of steak,... More

MS Dixie was very overcrowded, we couldn't find any seats to sit on. We walked around the whole ship and couldn't find one empty seat. The service was poor with very few attendants. We wish we went on another boat ( e.g. Bleu Wave).

Although this is not the first time on the Ms Dixie, it was as good as ever. The day was beautiful, the lunch good and we had what we consider a good time. The staff are very customer friendly and the prices fair for a tourist attraction.
