This was our first trip to Tahoe so this was a fun thing to do. They take you to Emerald bay and give a pretty good tour about Lake Tahoe. Very relaxing and a very nice time. We bought our tickets at a discount at the place we were staying at - The Stardust lodge. Tickets are not cheap and... More

We took this cruise as part of a family reunion. We had about 30 participants and were able to get a group rate by calling the 800 number on the flyer. We were all seated adjacent to each other in reserved tables. Although dinner was nothing to write home about, it was pretty good. We both had the steak. Some... More

Our boat ride was a let down. The inside areas of the boat smelled and could use refurbishing. The crew did not make themselves very available for any questions or information. We were told the boat was only half full but it still seemed crowded. We did not feel it was worth the price and would not recommend it.

The scenary alone makes this cruise worthwhile, especially the portion into and around Emerald Bay. Completely awesome! We saw both a sunset and a moon rise...lovely! The food, however, was completely terrible. The menu did not match what was posted on the website. Perhaps website should have explained this was a sample menu? Bread course was simply a French type... More

We took the afternoon cruise on the M.S. Dixie. The trip basically crosses the lake over to Emerald Bay and returns to Zephyr Cove for a relaxing 2 hour ride. There is an additional charge of $8 for parking on site. We did not eat on the boat but had lunch at the lakeside grill when we returned and enjoyed... More

Great time! Beautiful scenery, great dinner, nice live music..danced on the dance floor and top deck as music is piped up there. Recommend 2nd seating as it is after sunset.

I took my daughter on a weekend mother, daughter getaway to Lake Tahoe and thought a dinner cruise across the lake would be great...and it was! Just before you get on the boat they will take your picture, and after the cruise you have the option to buy the pkg of photos (whole pkg $37.00 comes with 1 lg photo... More

It was about $20. per person and lasts about 2 hours. The boat is beautiful and in good condition. They do have food and drinks available for purchase. We did have a couple of drinks and tried the nachos- both were good. The boat went directly across the lake, turned around and came back. The brochure states that there is... More
