Winter cruises are much better than summer

We had cruised aboard Dixie a couple of years ago, during the summer. It was very crowded, and the "music" was horrible hard rock. We were gifted with a winter-time dinner... read more

This was a terrific way to get an idea of how immense Lake Tahoe is. We went on a rainy day so stayed pretty much inside. There was a snack bar, full liquor bar, gift shop and a nice lounge and dining room. The captain took us on a nice tour of Emerald Bay with history of Vikingshom and its... More

Average day time 2.5 hr cruise from zephyr cove across the lake to emerald bay. Cost was ok at $49. Lunch not include could purchase for $15. I was expecting more of a cruise along the coast line plus the emerald bay visit. We entered the bay and circled around the bay which is difficult to get to from the... More

This is one of the best cruise in Tahoe. The price could be a bit deep, but it is well worth it, especially, for a heaven like place. People often say, "a picture worth a thousand words". I will leave it to your discretion.

When we got married at Lake Tahoe, we scheduled a Dinner, Dance, Cruz on Lake Tahoe that evening. It was so much fun because not only did we have a first class dinner, we also were intertained by a live band, and we and others on the cruz got to dance our favorite music.I would like to do it again... We had cruised aboard Dixie a couple of years ago, during the summer. It was very crowded, and the "music" was horrible hard rock. We were gifted with a winter-time dinner cruise this weekend, and I was dreading it. WHAT A SURPRISE! They board only 150 pax in the winter, as opposed to 300 in summer, and have only one... More

My husband and I took this cruise on our Anniversary weekend. This tour was definitely worth our time and money! The food was good; I had the nachos and my husband and I shared the clam chowder. The service and staff was great and the Virgin Mary I had was yummy! The trip was over 2 hrs long and we... More

To see Lake Tahoe, we enjoy going out on the water, We enjoy going out on M.S. Dixie. We prefer the daylight cruises on M.S. Dixie to see the lake, with our favorite area to see during the cruise being Emerald Bay. They also do some evening cruises such as dinner dance cruises. The staff here is stellar. And the... More

Went for a 2 hours ride to and from Emerald Bay. Found the boat to be a great way to get a different perspective on the lake, its size and the mountains surrounding it. Loved getting up close to island in emerald Bay. highly recommend cruise.

We took the morning cruise and booked it through the concierge at our hotel. I'm glad we did because we got a discount and they organised the shuttle bus to pick us up and drop us back at the hotel. The cruise was lovely and we got to see the lake from a whole new angle. The area is stunning... More
