We followed suzie-travels' suggestion and took the Safari Rose 4-hour cruise this past September (www.tahoeboatcruises.com/westshorecruise). I have been on the Woodwind II twice and enjoyed every moment. It is an amazing and peaceful experience to ride that boat. Especially when they get far enough from shore to cut the engine and put up the sails. You can sit out on deck with a blanket and a drink and just sail. Or sit in the lounge... more

All conditions were great. The crew was fantastic as well as the special rum drinks that were served on board ship. We drove the lake via car and got a great ariel view.
