The afternoon cruise on the Woodwind was wonderful. The crew was awesome and took wonderful care of us -- especially the bartender! Lounging on the deck with a great drink, the warm sun and gentle breezes you could almost imagine you were sailing off a tropical island -- except for the majestic mountains surrounding you in every direction. Can't recommend... More

We took a 1.5 hour sail on the Woodwind II in July, 2013. The Woodwind II is a large catamaran with a large deck on the bow, a cabin mid-ship and seating aft. The cabin featured a number of tables and a bar with drinks and snacks. There were also smaller tables on the sides of the cabin, further below... More

We take the day cruise every summer!!! Well worth the money. Relaxing and lunch is also served. We miss Clark, one of the captains, because he has always been the most informative narrator. A more thorough script should be given to others now that he has left us for Alaska!!!!

We did a two-hour tour on a catamaran and loved it. Very relaxing, not over crowded, comfortable cushions to sit on the exterior, the bathrooms were clean and the staff was informed and friendly. I have no complaints and would recommend it to anyone. Price is very competitive and Zephyr Cove is a beautiful place to spend your free time.

The view is amazing. We sat on dog beds on the deck, which were incredibly comfortable, and enjoyed the wind and fresh air of the catamaran. Free beer, wine, and champagne and they came around the deck refreshing our glasses. Bring a jacket. Once the sun goes down, the temperature drops quickly.

We took the "Happy Hour" cruise and it was a huge waste of time and money. They motored out to the middle of Lake Tahoe, set up the sail and sailed for about 10 minutes. Then, they used the engine to keep the boat in place while they sold and served drinks. We spent about 40 minutes staring at the... More

We went on the Champagne Sunset Cruise and thoroughly enjoyed the cruise, the champagne, and the amazing sunset! Kevin, the Captain and Tina the Bartender did an amazing job making everyone feel welcome. The champagne flowed, the cruise was spectacular and the sunsets breathtaking. This needs to be on everyone's bucket list!

There are some larger cruise options on Lake Tahoe but I wanted something where I wasn't with 200 of my closest friends. The Safari Rose was perfect. We took the 4 hour lunch cruise along the West Shore. The cruise starts out of Tahoe Keys Marina and at first, the yacht makes a beeline for the GodFather II house. Once... More

My wife and I and two friends took the Safari Rose cruise and were very pleased. It is an older boat but very well maintained. The crew was very welcoming and courteous. We took the mid day cruise that served the lunch and the food was great. I would highly recommend this.

We took a fall cruise with two other couples on the Safari Rose. The trip is 4 hours long and is totally relaxing. Just the right touch of commentary and long stretches of quiet with some background music. The boat was maybe half to 2/3 full and there was plenty of room on the upper and lower decks. The crew...
