We were told we would be sailing the shores of Lake Tahoe. We motored to Cave Rock and parked the boat for an hour before returning o zephyr cove. How boring is that? Here's what happened. There was not much wind so we asked before purchasing tickets. "Are we going to sail? There isn't enough wind to sail is there?... More

We took the evening Champagne Cruise on the Woodwind II. It is one of the most beautiful and relaxing cruise' that I have been on; and the crew was really friendly. Also since its a sailboat with only about 10-15 guests on board, the vibe is very relaxed (the unlimited wine did help:)) and not very touristy. This is not... More

Did the day tour of Lake Tahoe. There was a complimentary shuttle from our hotel. The vessel is a beautiful luxury yacht. The captain and the crew were great, were very willing to answer questions about the boat and about the lake. They put out a very nice buffet style lunch. I highly recommend this to anyone.

We arrived to dock and had to stand on dock for 45 minutes before we were able to board the boat due to some ladies that they were unable to find that were at a bar drinking nearby. The crew was not as friendly as they could have been and not impressed with operations for price paid. For 160 per... More

We were lookinng forward to this luncheon cruise aboard the beautiful Safari Rose and it turned out to be perfect. We were shuttled from our Marriott hotel to the marina, but had to wait awhile for sone late arrivees. The weather was terrific during the four hours we were gone and the lunch grilled on board was great. The pkaces... More

So worth the money! Shout out to Ian (the "captain"), Dan (the amazing chef) and my personal favorite, Sam (the bartender)! No one should come to Lake Tahoe without spending time ON the lake itself. This 80 ft wooden yacht, built in the 50s and restored, made for the perfect vessel to cruise 4 hours while enjoying lunch, listening to... More

My brothers & I had a fantastic time aboard the Woodwind II ! The craft is a 55-foot-long, twin-hulled sailboat (a catamaran) that can hold plenty of passengers (I think up to 50). Luckily when we went, there were less than 20 other guests, so we had all kinds of room to soak in the sunshine and fresh air as... More

It has been a marvelous summer in Tahoe as always . This year we started a new tradition the fireworks on the lake Safari Rose experience! The process is simple easy, convenient and accommodating. We traditionally go on the sunset cruise so knew what to expect but they even made it better on the fourth. So, now we are committed... More

This was the best bit of our Tahoe visit. The crew were friendly and informative, the drinks were good value and the tranquility of the experience was second to none. If you want to escape the slight madness of Tahoe South, then come on this cruise. Lying out on the front of a catamaran, in the sunshine with no engines,... More

it was an extremely windy day. The captain held the boat steady and gave us an excellent cruise. The food was very good and the Bloody Mary's hit the spot. The on board staff were great. We learned so much about the lake. Woodwind helped us out when we had issues getting to the cruise. Our bikes broke down. They... More
