Visited on Easter Sunday for a service with the family. The church has been here since the Comstock days when Virginia City was a booming mining town. The church is peaceful and a good place to sit and reflect. The stain glass windows and wooden pews are beautiful. There is a museum downstairs with many artifacts from the church to... More

Make sure to take time to visit this jewel of the Comstock Lode. A chance to press pause after visiting the Old West attractions on C Street.

Beautiful interior! Well worth your time! The museum was supposed to be open but it wasn't. The lady at the gift shop was very loquacious.

It's a historic place/building in Virginia City. The church itself is not much different from other historic catholic churches I visited in the past. They have a small gift shop inside the church and small museum at the corner. As a free attraction, it worths the visit.

This church is absolutely beautiful, especially on the inside! When you visit during the summer, the sun coming through the stained glass windows is incredible. I took pictures with a digital camera and with my phone, but what came out of those pics didn't do the stained glass justice. You just need to see it for yourself!

This beautiful church was rebuilt after a fire in the 1870s. When we visited, a very knowledgable docent gave us much fascinating information about the church and the priests who had served there, including one who was a miner before becoming a priest. There is an interesting little museum below the church. Well worth the visit.

To feel God's presence amidst the peacefulness and serenity inside this beautiful church is truly a moving experience. The quiet, simplistic surroundings enables one to concentrate totally without any outside noise or interference. The music sung by the small 2-3 person choir during Sunday morning mass is incredible. I was totatlly stunned the first time I heard the varied harmonies.... More

This is a beautiful historic church. Be sure to visit their museum which is around to the right of the building.

Beautiful church. Free which is a plus. I think we got a picture from every angle and street. Gotta see the monk wing, weird thoughts going on there.

Highly reccomended, it is a beautiful church and well worth the time to check out. It is hard to beklieve this church was built over 150 years ago and is still in fantastic shape.
