I, along with two girlfriends, just spent this past weekend in Virginia City. And, thanks to "The Bucket", we had such a blast! Tom, Carol and I happened to stumble into The Bucket of Blood Saloon one Saturday afternoon for just 1 beer. A few hours later and a few beers later we were walking out. What a blast. We spent a Sunday afternoon there in May '03 while the Comstock Cowboys were playing. The locals were dressed in 19th century cowboy attire and the music was the best. We listened to the band and drank all afternoon while enjoying the hospitality of the saloon owner. It was very unusual and exciting; you must visit this place. more
