Small Quaint yet very fun casino

This small casino (on Vegas standards) is the best place to gamble in Tahoe. The staff and games were "very friendly" and over our 5 day stay we kept drawing us back. Their restaurant "Timbers" was the spot for breakfast and dinner on many days. They feature a $19.95 Stake ans Lobster Tail that is the best I ever had... More

If you are looking for an intimate experience, this is your place, very quiet. There is a restaurant on the premises with a decent menu, however I did not eat there.

Lakeside Casino is a small casino right by Lake Tahoe. It used to be a favorite of older time Hollywood celebrities. Now its a small casino. I have spent a couple of hours playing and came out slightly above even.... (yes, good thing). We have dined there both breakfast (good breakfasts) and dinner (good steak). It has historic charm about... More

During past visits the staff was very friendly, but this time they seemed to be just drawing a paycheck. The dining room service was slow when we ate, and the waiter didn't want to be bothered as he visited with friends

My wife and I were directed there for a steak and lobster dinner for $20. We had a great dinner and then won some money at the slots. We went on to Reno and came back a couple of days later and won some more. This was the best food and best gaming of any place we stopped by far.... More

This casino is smaller than the other casinos in the area; but that is what we liked about it. All of the personnel were friendly and you didn't get lost trying to walk through it.

We came here for dinner at TIMBERS. I visited the ladies restroom to wash my hands before dinner. There was toilet paper, paper towels and water on the floor. Two of the toilets were filled and plugged up (?) One paper towel holder was empty, the soap was empty and the counters were messy with water all over them. ..ummm...Who's... More

Lobster and Steak special is hard to beat. Good views can be had over looking the lake if you get the right table. Sit away from the entrance unless you want to smell cigarette smoke.
