the rooms were nice but the hotel was very crowded with families and social events (weddings, parties and family get-togethers.

All of the dealers were very friendly and rooted for your success. They always had a pleasant smile and said hi.

The casino at Harvey's Lake Tahoe is usually pretty busy and is fairly nice. It often has more smoke than its sister casino, Harrah's, just across the street. Overall, I would rate Harvey's below Harrah's but it's OK for a change of pace. Harvey's does have a large, well run race and sports book while Harrah's has only a small... More

Not Vegas, of course. Seems to be very dated; like a 70's type casino. Could use a lot of updates. More pinball machines than anything else could be found.

Have a variety of machines in all denominations... if you want to avoid the smoke, as I do, start playing after midnight and stop by 08:00... this, of course, doesn't apply to weekends. What I disliked was the access to the self-parking...I didn't find a way to get there without going through the casino or going outside.

Went to see the Eagles in concert there at Harvey's outdoor amphitheater. If you see a concert there, try and sit close to the stage at ground level or sit in the stands. Bathrooms are not close by. Food and drinks pricey. Souvenirs real pricey. We paid half price for Eagle t-shirts outside the concert grounds by travelling vendors. Mob... More

The difference between Harrah's and Harvey's casinos is each have games not located in the other casino. Let It Ride only at Harvey's. Both have pleasant staff willing to provide assistance when approached.

Hated that the bathrooms were way down the road. Being handicapped, it took awhile to get there. The staff there was friendly and helpful. The seats sucked as far as comfort goes. The concert was great. The casino is old and smokey.

We ate a late afternoon meal at the sports bar and grill and really enjoyed the food. We had a breakfast snack at Cinnabon one day before going to the beach but unfortunately the buns were stale --

If you want to go see a concert this venue has to be one of the best. It is so small no matter where you are seated you'll be up close and personal.
