Hotel was fine, Casino was average. Dining was either Steak house or loud chain establishments. You either accepted those or took the tunnel to Harrahs which didn't offer much more

Good atmosphere. Very friendly people, compared to where we stayed. Gaming area was clean and nice, great place to grab a bite to eat.

I'm not a big gambler, but when I visit a casino, I usually play at least $50 bucks in the slot machines. I didn't have enough cash on hand so I first visited one of the ATMs in the casino. Call me cheap, but I didn't want to fork over the $6.00 fee to get some cash, so I went... More

We stayed at Harveys hotel as well. The rooms were clean and very comfortable although the sofa sleeper was very heavy and in a location of the room where you couldn't see the view. We tried to move it and finally succeeded only to realize that it was so low you had to sit on pillows to be comfortable. The... More

A very nice place to gamble. A very good variety of table games. They also have a very good variety of slots. The servers come by very often to make sure you have something to drink.

I went to Harveys for only the second time in 10 years. My last trip last time wasn't so good ,but I figured try again. The valet staff during my mid-week trip was very quick and pleasant..the check in process was excellent, because when I approached the lobby there was only 1 guy checking people in and 3 more parties ahead... Hadn't been down to the arcade since parents would send me down there. With it raining and nothing to do was perfect for the kids. Chuck E. Cheese type games for younger kids and also area with older kids games.

Just like Harraha's, they were not great. I think both places need to invest in a good air ventilation system. The place reeks, and just because it's a casino doesnt mean everyone like the smell. THe slots were stingy. The only nice thing about them is that they are connected with Harrah's(via underground tunnel)

Stayed at Harvey's again for this years skiing trip. It's exactly the same as the last three years....no change. Room was ok..nothing special.....but no tea/coffee facilities is annoying. Facilities in the hotel are ok.....and you get to use facilities at harrahs across the road which is slightly better. South Lake Tahoe is looking tired....seems it still hasn't quite recovered from... More

Harvey's was a little quieter than Harrah's casino if you want to go there for a little peace. Lots of slots.
