Harrah's continues to impress with this fun, quaint casino. No poker room but a tunnel or walk away there is one at Harveys. The black jack and roulette tables were a blast on the weekend. Didn't play much slots but the ones I did play were pretty loose, the smoke is not as bad here compared to Harveys. They have... More

Average Tahoe casino, typical comp drinks and oh what a smoker's paradise! Casino staff was surprisingly quite friendly!

Bussier of the 2 sister casinos, gets really busy after dinner hours. good lively crowd. Difficult to get seats at the more popular tables during the busy times. Lots of whopping and yelling when there is winning going on.

Harrahs is my favorite South Lake Tahoe Casino. We enjoy a number of their restaurants there such as Gi Fu Luh and Forest Room. We usually try to go to the Forest Room before the sunsets for views of Lake Tahoe. The theater at Harrah's is a good place to see a music concert. We have seen several there. Drinks... More

I visit Harrah's Lake Tahoe Casino quite often and it's always a fun place to play. I understand that casinos have an advantage over the player and, in the long run, almost all players will end up losing. However, at Harrah's the process is lots of fun and worth the price. And if you win, it's just a bonus. I... More

Always a friendly staff and quick with the drinks. I only wish it wasn't so heavy with smoke. One of the dealers we had, had been there for 27 years. She was friendly and even helpful, something that can be rare at a casino.

Pit bosses are disengaged and clueless about customer service. Casino manager is rude, and hung up on me when I called to discuss an issue I had. Terrible customer serivce.

Let's just say the slots were NOT loose. Played for awhile and just kept feeding the machines, time to move on....

Compared to Harveys, Harrahs needs some improvement in my opinion. The rooms are more dated, the employees just seem different, not bad but don't seem as helpful, happy and friendly as Harveys. Both are Caesars properties. Time for a little cross training maybe. I'm probably biased but I had a great time at Harveys and an ok time at Harrahs.... More
