Rail City Buffet has improved!

The Buffet restaurant has had a complete make over. With my last review I mentioned the smell of cigarette smoke in the casino and restaurant. That is all gone now. The air has... read more

Rail city has good food but they raised the price of the buffet and they charge full price for kids buffet the wait is still long and nothing to do with thw kids while waiting. If you don't mind all that they really do have a good buffet and other restuarants as well all with good food and atmosphere

The casino was very smoky. The food was good. I believe most people are local and they all smoke. They do have a lot of popular slot machines.

The Buffet restaurant has had a complete make over. With my last review I mentioned the smell of cigarette smoke in the casino and restaurant. That is all gone now. The air has no more smells. The restaurant is completely redone. The buffet line is all new and kept spotlessly clean. Gone are the booth type seating. It's all tables... More

Super classy they served wine in plastic cups. One of the worst dinners too I don't know how you screw up a baked potato but they managed to!

The Rail Casino looks like a place where locals hang out. Because the casino is small I expected a $2 blackjack table, but the minimum bet was $5. Might as well go 500 yards to the much nicer Nugget resort, Also, the casino was VERY smoky. My clothes stank after only 20 minutes in the casino.

If you are looking for an inexpensive, average food place to eat, go to Rail City. It's low budget nothing fancy, average portions, but the food is good. Never had a bad meal there. I especially like the breakfasts. Locals casino.

The Ale House has a great menu with fish tacos, a favorite. I cashed a ticket at their William Hill Sportsbook. Here is the convenience: I sensed a wager opportunity while driving and pulled over at Gold Ranch RV Park, which has a William Hill booth. I placed the wager with 7 minutes to spare. I had a coffee in... More

The service is decent, it has been remodeled (somewhat), but it has too many bad elements hanging around this place. The food are the restaurant is lousy.

The casino is actually OK, but it is always VERY smokey. The slots are on par with other local casinos. (as far as payback) The Ale House is really good. But the smoke in the casino can't be healthy for people.
