My buddy and I purchased passes for the Checkered Flag Club. We were treated like royalty and will be returning in 2012. The festivities were cut off abruptly however due to the tragic crash. It boiled down to $1000 for one day of racing. However, the things I saw that day cannot be priced. More

The Reno Air Races are the best show on earth if you are into airplanes, especially vintage WWII aircraft. Races in several classes take place each day, with air show acts in between. There are lots of beautiful aircraft to gape at on the ground as well. You can also get a pit pass to get up close to crews... More

Just had a great 3 days at the air races even though the Friday was so cold! The ladies in our group couldn't quite manage the 3 full days but the men thoroughly enjoyed themselves. It is well organised but there is room for improvement- the Thunderbirds are so boring- nearly 40 minutes of loud flypasts interspersed with long periods... More
