Nice little park near Virginia Lake

I enjoyed the walk around Virginia Lake; about 1 mile total. The park is cute, more for kids, and does have restroom facilities.

Nice "lake" to walk around. Lost of places to sit and have a picnic. There are ducks, if you like to feed them, please bring cracked corn, as bread and crackers are unhealthy food for ducks and geese. Good place to relax. Recommend.

We would get a Peppermill big sandwich and sit by the lake for a couple of hours. Pleasant was to spend some quite time. There is walking lane around the lake.

This is a smallish park just a block from the Peppermill Casino. You can enjoy the sea gulls right in the middle of a city. A lot of local joggers and bicyclists frequent this park. There is no cost.

I visit and walk around Virginia Lake whenever I visit Reno. It is a great little jewel tucked away in the residential area of Reno a short, easy walk from the Peppermill Casino and Hotel. You can sit and watch the ducks and geese glide gracefully on the water, even feed them, if you like; or just relax and stroll... More

A little oasis in the heart of a residential area. Walking path about one mile around the lake. Effort is being made to improve the dog park and to keep the paths and lake clean (hard to do with the geese walking all over).

We take our dog here as often as possible. There is plenty of shade for us and plenty of smells for the dog. There are families with small children feeding the ducks and lots of people taking the walk around the lake. There is even a restroom. Well done City of Reno

Just the right distance, shaded, lots of birds to see, and they hang out on their own small island. Passersby are friendly, quiet and respectful of nature--and there are restrooms. YAY

I lived right next door to the park in AN APARTMENT COMMUNITY for 2 years! If you want to walk or run for a bit its ok but unless they started to clean it up and clean up all the bird poop that collects (ALOT) then i would not recommend it to anyone. The ONLY reason i gave it 2... More
