We had a wonderful evening watching the Reno Rodeo. The little kids that rode the sheep bare back were hysterical...and the gals that did the barrel racing was lots of fun. The bronc riders are most amazing and from our seats (bought at the event) we saw everything. Be careful where you sit as the early evening sun and wind... More

Anyone visiting the Reno-Tahoe area the last two weeks in June each year should take time to visit the Rodeo Fair Grounds and attend one (or more) of the rodeo performances. This fourth largest rodeo in the U.S. is billed as the Wildest, Richest Rodeo in the West but it could also be billed with many other superlatives. Yes, there... More

Once again I remember the reason why I like rodeo. It is a trip back to our western roots when cattle was king and the US was still young and the Reno Rodeo delivers. The talent is excellent and the organizers do a great job of putting it on. There is a carny for the young, and the young at... More

Great rodeo. There is still a little bit of the American Spirit still alive at this event. There is fun for the whole family here.

We enjoyed this place a lot. Lots of action and memoralbela. This is a definatley must see in Reno. Can't say much else, as gambling was not that great for us. The food was excellent.

This is a must see event. If you're a rodeo fan or not, watching the cattle driven down the streets of Reno is a once a year treat! This marks the beginning of the Rodeo every year.

I take part of the parade with the Kerak Shriners in my Tin Lizzy mini car, always fun to see the smiling faces of everyone young and old :)

This is a once in a lifetime experience. If someone does not go on the drive one could always wait until the cattle drive makes its destination through Reno. Almost more cowpokes then cows but the finale though the streets is worth it. Also keeps the street sweeper busy afterwards.

I do not like the fake environment by all the people that pretend to be cowboys for a day, but I do like the way the women fill out those wrangler jeans. Over all it is a fun time for people of all walks.

I had the most wonderful time. The organisers thought of everything. There were showers, a bar and the food was outstanding. I can understand why people go there every year. I suggest you stay at the pepermill hotel for the two days before the start of the drive as there are events laid on before and after the end of... More
