Always the best place to take friends who love to see the Nutcracker during the holidays. Easy parking and surrounded by good places to eat.

Hey, this is Reno but this venue is top notch. We've seen many performances there - from small-group concerts to the fabulous Christmas extravaganza to former Broadway shows. It's totally professional, excellent acoustics and they get some world-class talent. It's usually a decent value and with free nigh time parking across the street it's very convenient.

Quite a nice theater but I found it a bit expensive. It is the only game in town for the big Broadway shows and they charge Broadway prices. In fact I have bought Broadway tickets in New York cheaper than some of the shows here. To be honest the theater group in Carson City put on just as entertaining a... More

We have had season tickets for Broadway comes to Reno for 5 years and have enjoyed every show. The cost is about $60 per person per show, well below the cost on Broadway and the road shows are professional and wonderful. Try the Pioneer!

This is Reno's premier cultural facility which has been around downtown since the 1960's. It has a main floor and balcony, depending on your preference and an elevator. This is where the Broadway musical series, the Philharmonic, t opera, dance, film, etc. performances take place during the year The seat upholstery and ladies' restrooms could be improved.. Parking after 5p.m.... More

This is a wonderful venue and we will return in the future. We live about 200 miles away and visited Reno to see 'Hair'. The sound was a bit off in the balcony but the sight lines were superb. Parking was easy and we walked around the area by the Truckee for dinner prior to the show.

The Pioneer theatre in Reno has provided outstanding Broadway shows, Philharmonic performances, opera, holiday events, and more. The venue gets better each year and provides a great variety of talent. I recently enjoyed a production of "Chicago" , the final show in this year's Broadway series. It was fantastic!

This is a great venue and we come here frequently for the Broadway Comes to Reno Series, the Reno Philharmonic, and AVA Ballet productions. The geodesic dome design is fantastic and makes for an open space that is far larger than it appears. The volunteer staff are always friendly and helpful You can tell that they truly love the center... More
