Cheapest tables in town as far as I know.

I don't think they do it anymore, but I used to go up there with some friends to play dollar blackjack. We got to know the dealers after some time and they were always friendly. I... read more

Used to go here regularly but the ownership changed. They lost the great chef they had and the atmosphere in the casino is is dark and gloomy. Whoever is running it now has ruined a good local place. Cactus Creek is expensive and mundane and the buffet inedible. Used to be a friendly place too. Skip this place and head... More

I don't think they do it anymore, but I used to go up there with some friends to play dollar blackjack. We got to know the dealers after some time and they were always friendly. I never won anything major, but we got to hang out and have a good time. It's low-key and decent. I'm also not sure if... More

I don't gamble, so a casino is not a place I generally seek out. However, my uncle took us there for breakfast one morning last week when we were in town. He ordered pancakes, so I thought since he liked them, I'd try them, too. The order was for 2 pancakes, and I thought that would probably be about right... More

This place is really neat. The decor is nice. The employees are awesome. I wish I could have remained longer!

I stopped here on a Tuesday night for about an hour. I found the casino pleasant. Its north of where the University of Nevada at Reno is (i.e. not in the downtown area). They had a good assortment of slots - one that paid me a little bit and made me happy that I had stopped. The place tends to... More

2nd review of the gourmet room at bonanza casino. Went there may 2014 to find their chef of many years had retired. In my mind the food has declined with the new chef and I may not retrn. Several of the dishes I really enjoyed are gone, ie macodamian encrusted halibut. And I received a salad with bibb lettuce and... More

walked in, the smoke was choking. Have they ever heard of air exchangers? Cafe was, well, OK. I remember when they featured great Ribs, and once upon a time they were plentiful and cheap. I couldn't even find ribs on the menu. The Biscuits and Gravy were Nothing to write home about. Gravy was flavorless. Biscuits while small, were OK.

I ordered the meatloaf last night. I know it is a weird choice but a good restaurant will take pride in their meatloaf. This stuff was made years ago, frozen into a log, sliced like liverwurst, microwaved, and covered in tasteless and cold gravey and then served to me cold. It tasted like canned dog food smells. The worst food... More

Wow has this casino gone down hill! Don't waste your time or money in hear! Unfriendly staff! Went to bonanza twice both times crapy mean bartenders! The cocktail waitress even worse, they would rather stand around then serve! Amazed its still in business!

Worst casino ever!!!!! The food is HORRIBLE! After eating you go running... Straight for the bathroom. Cocktail waitresses are always moody & getting served takes at least an hour for even the simplest drink. They got rid of all the great, competent & good looking cocktail waitresses. Chris Romm is an incompetent manager at best, if he even shows up... More
