Attended their recent comedy night and had a great time. Good seating, great drink service and easy to get in and out to smoke or take a call. Acoustics and sound system were perfect for a comedy setting.

I've seen about seven concerts in The Knit so far this year. I really enjoy the venue even though it's a little minimalist. The bar and security staff are very professional, but be wary of the limited seating and prepare yourself for a good crowd based on the act and the night. I've seen as few as 100 people and... More

We came here for the first time to see Justin of Blue October. We had meet and greet passes. The staff was very friendly and I saw no issues. Because of the meet and greet we were amongst the first people to re-enter for the show. Staff was very helpful in identifying where we should stand while waiting to get... More

We attend 10-12 concerts a year, trying out different venues. I read several reviews about the Knitting Factory in Reno. Some people loved it others hated it. I bought tickets to see a band I could have seen 25 miles away on Sacramento but instead drove 115 miles to the Knitting Factory in Reno. The thing that drew my attention... More

We went to see Craig Morgan 4/5/14 & we were terribly disappointed. They cram you in there like sardines & had to wait at least 30 minutes to get a beer, which for a Coors light draft was $6! Standing room only & after 2 hours of being pushed around we left, didn't even get to see Craig Morgan. Will... More

I have said aloud that I will never go back there, even if the Beatles got back together or somehow Michael Jackson came back to life. Went to see a very popular band - too popular for the size of this venue, and I'm not old yet, but apparently am too old to be crawled all over and pawed all... More

I have been to several concerts and added another to the list when I purchased Awolnation tickets. He was performing in Reno on 04-18-2013. I have never been to the Knitting Factory before and below is a brief summery of what I encountered on the worst night of my life. I arrived way before the event started and was in... More

Those of us reaching a certain age, really like some of the performers who appear at the Knitting Factory, but standing room only created a negative desire to return. Can appreciate the younger crowed loving it.

I was excited when the Knitting Factory opened in Reno. I am originally from Southern California where another Knitting Factory resides. This is one of the few venues in Reno dedicated hosting bands. Most places are bars with a stage. I have always been treated kindly by the staff at the Knit and they always have a good selection of... More
