This campus surprised and impressed the hell out of me. It is SO much nicer, cleaner, larger, and better than the better known UNLV. The campus is full of beautifully finished brick buildings, has great greenery surrounding the buildings, and it is very clean and easy to walk around. Definitely worth a quick walk thru if nothing else, you might... More

Beautiful, growing campus with many new beautiful buildings to blend with the old ones! Always enjoy walking the campus and the Student Union has great food choices. The new library is beautiful too!

My son, Connor graduated May 2015, from the start of his freshman year 2011 until he graduated, all staff members were helpful, knowledgeable and courteous. The staff members are wonderful mentors assuring students a positive environment to be successful. Thank you to all.

Beautiful grounds and serenity during the Summer when fewer students are on campus. The biggest negative is parking. Without a permit, best of luck finding anywhere to park near the campus.

Excellent university. Great education, great location, and very affordable for out-of-state students.

Although most of the buildings are new and modern in appearance, the well done red-brick construction makes this school appear as something from Virginia in early 1800's.

We enjoyed the baseball games during the Mountain West tournament at Picole Park even if it did rain on us.

My wife and I are both UC grads and I always thought my boys would pick a California school. But after visiting the campus, and finding out that my son could get a reduced tuition for his good grades and test score, AND graduate in four years (a rarity in CA). We all loved UNR.
