My son just moved into the dorms and is a freshman at the university. It is a beautiful campus and I'm so excited for him as he begins this next phase in his life. I'm impressed by the staff during move-in and I loved their Opening Ceremony.

If you are considering attending, then please consider that there's more to UNR than the pleasantly manicured exterior. I was a student here for two years before I finally decided it wasn't worth the aggravation and transferred. Why, you may ask? I was at the top of my class. The teachers were qualified and competent (with one or two exceptions).... More

Everybody was very friendly and opened doors for us. The permanent art gallery collection is worth a close look. The Kegg mineralogy museum is fantastic.

We have enjoyed visiting the University of Nevada at Reno Campus. We have gone to their football stadium there to watch a football game - actually we were lucky enough that time to see Colin Kapernick play. He was stellar that day; he is now the quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers. Nice stadium. Most recently (July 2014) we visited... More

This school has it all and then some. Lots of construction going on, the place is really growing. Student art is all over the campus, which suggests a strong, integrated art department. Lots of history too. The school has all the latest & greatest, including 2 3D printers (which i had never seen until now). Perfectly located for access to... More

Enjoyed wandering around campus on a quiet summer day. The buildings are brick - so classic! What a nice campus!

My husband and I visited the campus as my great-nephew will be attending it the fall. I was pleasantly surprised with the beauty, landscaping, and architecture of the campus. It had more of an Ivy League feel. Well done blending the new buildings with the old. Student staff were friendly and helpful. I love visiting college campuses, especially they they... More

I'm a "bad photographer" with an "ancient, cheap camera," but I'm addicting to doing photo-essays everywhere I go. Some folks teased me before I went and implied there'd be little to take pictures of that wasn't "tacky." well, the university is quite large and built with style and class and impressive size. It's one of many things around downtown that... More

The University of Nevada Reno has a beautiful campus, wonderful planetarium, outstanding library (the Knowledge Center), and excellent services. The campus is an architectural mixture of original and modern buildings, 21st century technology, and historical sites. Those who work at the university enjoy their work and love working with students. Each program has experts in their field who are extraordinary... More
