We saw two shows while we were there. One was about the Coral Reefs and the other about the Sky.I wish we lived closer to this as there are so many good programs to see and do. In the past, we have gone on sky trips to view planets and stars through the large telescopes. This is a great family... More

I'm a dual enrolled student. The buildings look good and the modern buildings are green certified. More

Set to music of Pink Floyd, we had a fun show one Saturday night at the planetarium. It's the kind of show, for me atleast, that once goes a long way. The music wasn't overly loud and there were only about 15 people in the planetarium that holds 30-45 seats. I wanted to go back to see something to do... More

We have attended 3 graduations of friends there. The school has such a superb reputation and beautiful campus that encourages a leisurely walk around the quad. More

The campus has some beautiful new buildings, but it has to be questioned if it is a college if students aren't graduating. If visiting try to visit the Buck building which is beautiful. The dorms are sad, and dining hall options very poor. New dorms are opening soon. For families seeking accommodation during their visiit a word of warning .... More

I graduated from UNR. It's an amazing school with neat old buildings and great instructors. Majority of the restaurants are wonderful. The new library is great. Only bad thing is the parking meters on campus, but you can usually find free parking about 1/5 of a mile away if you don't mind the walk More

Took son and friend on a campus tour and we all loved it. Proximity to Sierra ski resorts,Tahoe, Sactown, San Fran and the cool town of Reno make this a no brainer pick. More

The UNR campus is a beautiful gem, just a short distance from downtown. The lower part of the campus contains colorful gardens, green lawns, and fountains, tucked between historic buildings. The lovely tree-lined quad was modeled after the Thomas Jefferson designed quadrangle at the University of Virginia. Many who visit the campus say it reminds them of an Ivy League... More
