We played at a few courses end of April on our visit to Reno and enjoyed this one the most. It was in great shape, a very playable course and it has the signature hole which is beautiful. We kept going back to this one! The staff are all very friendly. We played with a few members which were very... More

One of several golf courses close to downtown Reno. While each has its own personality, Lakeridge has the famous 15th island hole. Panoramic views of the entire valley and a 300 foot drop from tee box to green onto the island. A unique experience. Lakeridge has changed ownership and upgraded its facilites, golf carts and the course itself. A must... More

This course gives just enough thrills to keep up interest game after game and not so much trouble that you wish you'd have gone somewhere else. Pebble Beach its not and thank God for that. Some of the holes are fantastic with the 15th really memorable. Good prices and close to downtown. My wife and I love to play here.

Seriously, an island green 200 yards long and a vertical drop of about 200 yards. Awesome. The rest of the course layout was very playable and remember that you are at altitude so use one less club than you think you need.

This course didn't seem as well maintained as some other reviews state. Several fairways were hard and had large brown spots and the Canada geese were EVERYwhere and so was their droppings. Gross. It really takes away from the enjoyment of the game when you have to constantly watch where you walk and hope the ball doesn't land in it.... More

This course is in excellent condition for a pay to play, better than many private clubs I have played. Greens were inconsistent for speed and without local knowledge you will lose 4-6 strokes on greens that do not break the way you read the slope. The fairways were excellent, the traps needed a little more sand but they were consistent.... More

It's true - Hole #15 offers spectacular views! Great course and very well maintained. Had a scramble here this week and the entire staff was great to all of us - thank you! Can't wait to play this course again!

I have played a lot of courses in my six years of playing golf--LakeRidge was my 72nd. I have to say that the golf experience at LakeRidge was one of the best golf experiences I have had, despite being really hot (it was over 90). Lots of things combine to make this an excellent course. For reference, I'm a 14-15... More
