This ET highway leads to Alamo and to AREA 51. I did not see anything spectacular in the skies. You may be the few lucky ones.

Definitely stop to get a picture of the sign and follow it to the Little A'Le'Inn to get a drink, bite to eat, or to get a souvenir.

Very scenic drive, watch out for livestock, this is open range country. Looks like some people enjoy their target practice because there isn't a road sign that isn't riddled with bullet holes. Seems as if the cattle crossing signs are especially popular to shoot.

Drove from Vegas to Rachel. There wasn't much to do but look at the beautiful countryside but I still enjoyed it because off all the hype. Didn't see a UFO or alien but the most disappointing part was all the stickers covering up the sign.

Several photo opportunities, shops and diner along the way. The road to Area 51's gate is approximately 1.6 miles before reaching the Lil Alie Inn. Then about a 10 mile drive on a dusty road. Turn your car back towards the highway, leave it running and doors open in case you get their attention.

Very nice and scenic drive through nothingness. Get gas before going to be safe and look out for cattle roaming the area. Not much to see and the Black Mailbox has been removed but stop in Rachel and Area 51, avoid the camo "dudes".

Didn't see any aliens. Lots of desert and nothingness; a long way out and away from anything to justify the distance! Oh, and the famous postbox is no longer there

If you take a drive in rural Nevada, you may find yourself on the ET Highway. Not much to see and rest stops are few and far between, but it's an interesting drive on a two lane highway where the cows in the open range outnumber the cars.

What a way to drive across central Nevada! We were on our way from Bryce Canyon Utah to Yosemite California and decided to break our journey at Tonopah Nevada. The drive from Bryce to Tonopah is clsoing in on 400 miles and takes about 6-7 hours, but what a great drive! The extraterestial highway (actually state highway 375) is the... More
