On my recent visit to Vegas we opted not to rent a car and just walk or use the trams/monorail everywhere. This worked out perfect until we wanted to go see the "Welcome to Vegas" sign. It was almost a mile walk down the blvd. past Mandalay Bay; and this is the beginning of the blvd.....totally different view and feel... More

Who doesn't want to have a photo with the Las Vegas sign? It's a must when in Vegas, though a bit far from the main strip attractions it is on the way to other good spots to check out, so don't miss it!

I am guessing this must be one of the most photographed places in Vegas! You can get a bus from the strip or walk (we walked there (took about 1 hr) in over 100 degrees (never again) and the bus back. No official photographer there but you may see a man offering to take your picture with your camera (for... More

Had the cab detour on the was to In-n-Out so we could snap the obligatory selfie in front of the sign. Evidently, we were not the only ones because there was a huge line. Fortunately, there was a large grassy area in front and there was room to walk over to the side and get a photo from that angle... More

We had our Presidential sedan driver swing us here after leaving McCarran. We only had him for an hour and wanted to swing by the sign for pics, stop at a store for room supplies (aka drinks!), the finally to our hotel. It was only 9:15 am so we were sure we'd have plenty of time. After pulling up at... More

Friend couldn't afford to leave town for vacation so I said I would take her all over town and show her Las Vegas. we started at the sign, there is parking and it can get crowded ,there is usually a line if you want a picture right in front of the sign but if a side view is good, no... More

Of course you have to visit the sign. It's an easy walk from Mandalay Bay if you don't have a car or want to take a cab. I had been once before but this is the first time I've seen a line to have your picture taken. Wasn't a long line and worth it to wait to not have any... More

How can you miss this Iconic Sign on your next visit to Vegas! A must and close to Down Town. When Down Town check out the old style neon signs and the newly remodeled Golden Nougat Hotel.

My family had to stop by the sign for a quick photo before leaving Vegas. There's a small parking lot by the sign and you can walk over to the front of the sign for a picture. When we arrive in the late morning, there was a short line of people taking pics. There was also a person there with... More

10 minute queue (orderly) to get a photo in front of the sign. Parking in the centre of the road, and a 15 minute walk back to nearby hotels.
