Yes it's a cheap and tacky sign but it's Vegas and you can't visit without taking it in and getting that picture! It's positioned as you enter the city but there is parking around it

About a 15 minute walk from Mandalay bus stop. Good footpath but not much shade so make sure you have water with you. Sign is situated on the central reservation of the highway but fairly easy to get across to. Informal queuing system in place and a photographer on hand who will take photos with your own camera for a... More

Been to Vegas 5 times before but finally made the decision to go and visit the sign. Went around 08:30 one morning, got a cab there from the Bellagio. It wasn't too busy but there were other people there. Found a friendly family to take our pictures and then returned the favour for them. It was a lovely sunny morning... More

We arrived and waited in line for about 10 minutes. I normally wouldn't complain but it got to be over 100 degrees and being from New England, I was not used to it. But eventually my friend and I got our picture in front of the sign and I will cherish it forever!

There were plenty of people queuing for a picture at the sign. We stood to the side and did a selfie as people swapped over. Job done, no waiting and we didn't feel like we'd jumped the queue.

We went to Vegas to get married. On the way to the chapel that night we stopped to take pictures by the iconic Fabulous Las Vegas sign. There was a photographer there that offered to take our pics because he said it was very difficult to take good pics with cell phones because the sign is so bright. Of course... More

We went here around 7AM to get a picture and there was only one other couple here. I definitely would have not stopped here if there was a line because honestly it's just a sign. There is also only about 5 parking spaces and its located in the center of the road so I would suggest getting here early to... More

I actually walked (maybe hiked would be a better term) from the Cosmopolitan to see this sign. In August. Crazy? Perhaps. But I did live to tell about it and I have a couple of tips for those who may try to do the same. First, use the monorail to cut down your walking time. There is the pay-to-ride monorail... More

Not much to say about the sign itself. It's just one of those sights you have to see, being the most iconic signs in Las Vegas. It's a 10-15 minute walk from the Mandalay Bay stop (end of the strip) and you can catch the DSX or Deuce (bus services) from your hotel or on a street nearby. Once you... More
