Go in the morning!

It's a photo you have to get but go as early as you can to avoid the queues. Our wonderful taxi driver took our photo and then took us back!

Title, for the uninformed, is a "This is Spinal Tap" reference to the "Welcome to..." sign as an attraction. It's either an off-the-charts "must see!" for tourists or a "who cares?" relic for locals and LV veterans. This being my first visit to Vegas, I'm in the former camp... :) I'm an early riser and decided to make the 1... More

Si visitas las vegas debes tomarte una foto ahí. El letrero es mas pequeño de lo que imaginé pero hay personal de ayuda y usan tu propia cámara para tomarte las fotos que tu quieras. Debes dejar una propina. If you visit Las Vegas you take a picture there. The sign is smaller than I imagined but there are support... More

We put the address in the GPS and it took us to the wrong place. We went back another day, and then we found it easily. I would recommend just driving the strip rather than using an address - it's a in the middle of the road close to the airport. We had no trouble parking. There was a pretty... More

Fun attraction! There's usually a line up but it goes down pretty quick. Gives you the chance to pose with the sign! We did a group picture and then individual pictures which was fun.

The proof that you've been to Vegas. Funny, but this simple but classic, innocent-looking neon sign that stood lonely in the Strip is the one symbol of Vegas. We walked from our hotel (Monte Carlo) to this landmark. There will always be people queuing for the photo op. Relax, would you want to leave Vegas without the proof?

Visited the sign, we decided to walk to it. I thought it would be bigger than what it was, loads of people queuing to get there photos taken. We went in the day, but would like to see it at night.

Really not worth it unless you are at one of the casinos located most South on the strip. It's a fairly easy walk from there and you can snap a photo or two and head back. To take the Deuce bus or a taxi is a waste of time and money. The sign is slightly smaller than I thought and... More

If you are in Las Vegas or nearby, you can't pass up the opportunity to go here and have a picture taken. It is located beyond the south end of the Las Vegas strip. If you are staying in the Mandalay Bay or Luxor Hotels, you can walk there in about 20-25 minutes. If it is really hot, as it... More

There is ample parking and we hopped out on our way out of town, for a group photo. The city prohibits salesmen and solicitors there, but that didn't stop a guy wearing a "photo help" hat from trying to "earn" a quick buck. We quickly took our picture and went on, as there was quite a line.
