This is one of those photos you have to have in Vegas, along with the Bellagio fountains and the photo of the strip at night. It's a 15min walk from the Mandalay Bay hotel at the end of the strip. Crossing the road to it is fine, so long as you're careful. Had photos taken at the sign by a... More

We did not have a rental car, so we took the bus to the Mandalay Bay and walked to the sign. It's not a bad walk, but the cars zip by the sidewalk at a fast speed, so be careful so that you don't slip off the curb into the street. The sign is in the middle of the boulevard,... More

Yes it is just a sign, but it's iconic! Best to get there by vehicle. There is parking. Early is best otherwise you will wait in line. If your lucky Elvis will be out there! I have also on occasion seen a showgirl out there.

You can't go to Vegas and not get your picture taken by the sign!! Be prepared for long lines. Go early in the morning to try and avoid this!

Recommend coming here by car, and approaching from the north while on las vegas blvd, since that's how you can access the free parking by the sign. The entire area is free, and there is usually a modest line (which moves pretty quickly) at all times to take a picture by the sign. It's all self-regulated, but most people are... More

I walked to it, not knowing how far it was. I was told it was only 15 minutes, but I think they must have meant driving time! It was a nice day and and I saw lots on my lengthy walk.

We decided to walk to the sign, as we were already heading to Mandalay bay. It's a pretty long walk, and the sidewalk is pretty narrow, but it feels great knowing I have those pics.

It only take a few minutes to stop, so why not? They put in free parking in the middle in front of it, so it's easy to pull off the road and get a quick picture under this classic sign. Nothing says Vegas more than this!!

It's one of these things that you must do one your visit in Las Vegas. I've been to Vegas so many times and only on my last trip in March 2015 we've decided to visit this famous landmark. There is a nice parking lot for free, but the entrance to the parking is when you driving Westbound (like driving away... More

This is a major attraction in Vegas. There's even a parking area in the middle of the highway for it. We went the night before St Patricks Day and the sign was green. There were many people there taking pictures by the sign.
