I actually walked (maybe hiked would be a better term) from the Cosmopolitan to see this sign. In August. Crazy? Perhaps. But I did live to tell about it and I have a couple of tips for those who may try to do the same. First, use the monorail to cut down your walking time. There is the pay-to-ride monorail... More

Not much to say about the sign itself. It's just one of those sights you have to see, being the most iconic signs in Las Vegas. It's a 10-15 minute walk from the Mandalay Bay stop (end of the strip) and you can catch the DSX or Deuce (bus services) from your hotel or on a street nearby. Once you... More

Yep...just one of those things that if you're in Las Vegas, why not at least drive by and snap a picture?

Think about what you see on every iconic American map or postcard. Golden Gate Bridge, Mount Rushmore, Empire State Building, FABULOUS LAS VEGAS sign! If you're ever in Vegas, you've got to at the very least drive by it. Stopping for a photo is better. The only knock is the lack of parking. We tried three times to find a... More

Although very touristy a must do is to get a photo in front of the fabulous Las Vegas sign, night time is best as you get the Vegas lights in the background. Be wary as there is a photographer trying to make money taking your photo to sell and print, probably best to take a friend to take your photo... More

It's one of those images that immediately springs to mind when you hear "Las Vegas". Okay, you can say it's tacky and built for the tourists, but it's like a magnet. It's better now that it has a designated parking lot. Yes, it may be busy, and yes, you may have to queue, but having your photo taken here is... More

A little cliche but this is definitely one thing you need to do when visiting Las Vegas. It's one sign in the middle of the street with about 10 parking spaces and there's always a queue. When you do reach the front it's definitely asking the 'unofficial' photographer to get your photos he was great and got some great photos... More

The sign itself isn't worth many stars ... it is, after all, simply a sign ... and surprisingly (at least to us) much smaller and closer to the ground than we had anticipated. BUT ... it is such an iconic sign that our trip would have felt absolutely incomplete if we hadn't gone. We had access to a car, so... More
