This sign, albeit a good walk from the heart of the strip, is pretty much the essential tourist thing to do when you go to Las Vegas. It does have some parking if you drive down there, but it's about 1.5 miles from the MGM Grand Hotel, so it does make for a good walk. It wasn't too crowded down... More

Go early in the morning as parking is limited. I jumped out and took a photo over the heads of other people, figuring I really didn't need to be IN the picture. Elvis was there, along with a busload of other tourists, and it wasn't interesting enough to wait for everyone to smile and complete their pictures. I had always... More

On my last day I made it to the sign. If I hadn't I would have kicked myself. It was quite busy but managed to get a photo without anybody else in it. Oh and Elvis (one of the many I suspect) was there to add to the atmosphere.

We stopped by the sign early on Friday afternoon and got luck with a parking spot (the lot was quite full with we left). There was a line to get a picture in front of the sign, but we skipped off to the side a bit to grab a couple of quick photos. If you visit, I hope you don't... More

After making eight trips to Vegas. we finally made it to The Sign on our last trip in March, of this year (2014) and it was great! You do have to wait your turn in line to get your photo, but if you don't mind a little wait, it's worth it and best of all it's FREE! Here is our... More

You can take the southbound bus and get off at Mandalay Bay. It was about a 20 minute walk to the sign. But it is worth it. I have been to Vegas several times, but never had my picture made at the sign. There is a sign up there about how no one is supposed to set-up as a vendor,... More

First a warning - if you are walking, it is a ways beyond Mandalay Bay, which is at the far southern end of the strip, so if you are walking from your hotel, it will be a long hike and there is no shade at all for long stretches. If you drive, there is a small parking area with pretty... More

It was fun stopping here to take pictures, and it is so easy. There weren't even as many people as I thought there were going to be (we went at 7pm). The sign is fun to see in person because you keep seeing it in movies.

Cool stop just to say you did it. There is not much parking and there was a line when we sent. We went when we first landed to give it more hype. :-)

You have to go and visit the Las Vegas Sign, its so famous that you cannot come to Las Vegas and not see it, plus is very close to the strip. There is some parking available so you can park your car while you snap some good pictures. Come see it and have a blast in Las Vegas!
