This is one of those "you gotta see/do" things in Las Vegas, but it's really not that interesting or exciting. It's located just of few blocks south of the Mandalay Bay, within walking distance. We were there mid-morning on a Saturday. There was a long, but orderly line to take photos. There was also a person assisting with photos. They... More

We walked to the sign from our hotel. Had a long wait due to the Las Vegas Police Department taking photos. This caused a long wait as many tourist formed a long line to take pictures. The sign is better at night when lit up. Something to do one time while in Vegas. Plus it is free, which is hard... More

This is a great photo opportunity spot. And there is often someone there offering to take a picture of you with your party. The parking lot is SMALL. So try to go at an off time, if there is such a thing in the city that never sleeps. We pulled in and had to wait for a spot to open... More

I can't believe it took me 11 trips to Vegas to finally make it to the sign. It is a great experience to be standing in front of it. Go early to avoid big crowds and definitely go during daytime to get better pictures. It is far to walk to so we took a taxi, told the driver to wait... More

Walked to the sign early afternoon, takes about 20 mins from the mandalay bay hotel out towards the airport. If you walk on the left hand side of the road you past the little church of the west wedding chapel, we had been told this was the oldest chapel in Vegas. The sign is between carriageways you have to be... More

This place seemed to be busy most of the day. We arrived just as 3 other tourists finished taking photos. Then I noticed an official sign there, mentioning that there is no reservation; first come first served. Were we lucky. A stretched limo arrived and a wedding party got off; they were about to take lots of photos here; we... More

I finally got to drive down to see the sign. I wanted photos of the sign and found early morning before the sunrise to be the best time so I didn't get people in the shot. I was the only one at the sign at 5am. They changed the bulbs while I was there to pink from yellow for breast... More

The sign is located in the middle of a traffic median. There is space to park and get out to snap a picture. Expect to wait in line, as this is a busy stop for tourists and tour groups.

We walked the length of the strip and decided to keep going that little bit further to reach the famous Vegas sign. The sign itself is in the middle of a 'traffic island' and you cannot miss it! We visited around 7pm as we wanted to see it lit up at night. As expected the area was fairly busy with... More
